Naptime with Theo and Beau: with Free Poster Included Hardcover – Picture Book, February 3, 2015

My grandson and his partner recently rescued a young black lab mix to grow up with their son. Every child should have a dog. Now when they read this book to him, they can replace their new dog's name with the one in the book.

Just looked at the Kindle version of Naptime with Theo and Beau because I couldn't wait for UPS delivery later today. Many like me have followed Jessica Shyba's blog for sometime as she shares her stories and pictures. This collection is a wonderful example of those many pictures, and the special relationship that developed between Theo and Beau. Her blog www.mommasgonecity.com has provided many smiles and even a few shared tears as she has shared and continues to share the ups and downs of everyday family life. She is also donating a portion of the profits to Theo's SPCA shelter where he was adopted so you get to help animals find their forever homes too. Please go and adopt from your local shelter or humane society. Rescue animals are the best.A book for young and old alike. We are now trying to lobby Jessica for her next book to be about Theo, Beau and newest baby girl, Evangline!

Two thumbs Up for a wonderful book by a lovely blogging "Momma"!I've been quietly, but obsessively following the Theo and Beau wave, that's advanced to loving the whole sweet and beautiful Shyba family.A lengthier book with even more pictures would have been great, but this IS a book for children and those who read TO children, so less is more, and makes it more manageable. Hopefully the upcoming Bath time with Theo and Beau will be more illustrative, but will always be entertaining and poignant. Already gave a copy to a friend with 'little ones', and they loved it:-) The magical bond between these litter mates is enchanting and rare. Read it with someone you love - even a furbaby! I've been following Jessica Shyba on Instagram for quite some time. I could never get enough of this duo (Theo and Beau), so when I heard a book was coming out last year, I hopped on the presale bandwagon! I love it! I have two rescue dogs and have fostered many more. This is such a good testimony of benevolence, love and friendship. Little sister, Evangeline, has come into the family now, so I am grateful for more preciousness from this wonderful family!I will be taking my copy to the nursing home where my mother lives. I know the residents there will love this!

Great little book! My daughter loved the pictures and was asking all kinds of questions about what a rescue animal is and of couse how can she get one? :) I think this book is not only sweet but it opens up the conversation with kids on the importance of rescue animals and their need for homes too. I follow Jessica's blog on Facebook and there is nothing sweeter than her daily nap time with Theo and Beau (and now Evvie). Love the book, love the cause and love the bond between this little boy and his dog!!

A family of three children, ages 5, 3, and 1 were looking for a pup -- one with a mild temperament. On their fourth visit to the shelter, they found the shyest pup. They named him Theo. Soon Theo and Beau, a one years old boy nap together for two hours every day.Each photography is excellent; they sleep like a pair. They are both such happy individuals as they sleep so peacefully. I can't stop smiling. I am going to use this book for gift giving, such as baby showers, Christmas or Birthday.

The book is beyond adorable. Jessica Shyba is a talented photographer and captures maximum cuteness in each photo. Although the book is short, it is the perfect length for a little one before bedtime. If you like puppies and babies you need this book. Worth the price just for the cover photo. Fabulous inexpensive gift. PRECIOUS!

Lovely collection of photographs from Theo & Beau! Looking forward to the new one due out early 2016.

Gorgeous pics, my son is a little too young for it as his main aim is to rip the pages (!) but for older toddlers it's a lovely book for nap and bedtime, especially if you have a family dog

Sigo a la autora en Instagram y esperaba que su libro fuese tan bueno como su trabajo en ig. Es bonita la idea del libro pero la maquetación creo que no esta hecha con el mimo que si se ve en ig. Por eso no ha cumplido mis expectativas ya que esperaba encontrarme fotos en formato cuadrado y no a dos páginas que desvirtúa mucho la imagen.Aún así no esta mal

Photos vues sur internet dans des diverses blogs et ravi de ces images plein de tendresse et de l'histoire du duo, j'ai acheté ce livre pour l'offrir.Grosse déception. Peu volumineux, 15 images en double page, une partie disparaît donc dans le pli. Sur une dizaine d'images c'est même une partie de leurs têtes ! Et, les photos sont ternes (sauf couverture et feuilles de garde plutôt joli).J'aurais préféré des photos de Theo & Beau non rognées, plus brillantes et sur une seule page pour bien les mettre en valeur.

Bellissime e tenere Tutte le foto! Lo ho aspettato un po' ma ne valeva la pena. Da avere in casa fra le cose care.
