We opted for polywood patio chairs for outdoor durability and to avoid having to replace them every 3-4 years. They're on an uncovered outdoor patio and exposed to the elements. Assembly wasn't too bad - the hardest part was aligning the holes to insert the hardware. There were no defects in the 4 we bought. The chairs were heavier than expected but that's fine. They won't blow away as others have in heavy winds. Major drawback is the depth of the seat and comfort. The chairs are rigid with no give and can make sitting on them for extended periods difficult. I'd opt for a deeper seat next time.

Initial delivery was missing hardware (screws, nuts and instructions). I called polywood customer service after confirming the shipment model they sent the missing hardware (took about 5business days).

I have purchased four of these chairs in the mahogany color. Two were purchased two months ago and we liked them so much we purchased two more. The chair is very comfortable, easy to assemble and sturdy.I am returning one of the two most recently purchased due to manufacturing defects. The chairs come with four pre-assembled parts - two sides, a back and a bottom. Both of the chair sides had circular abrasions where the manufacturer installed screws indicating something was no calibrated correctly because the machine that installed the screws created a large round circle on the front of one chair side and the back of the other one. Also, the chair back had sharp heavy duty staples sticking out of the front and back of the chair back. This appears to be from another sort of misalignment in the manufacturing process. I am sharing a photo of one of the circular abrasions and one of the staples. The other three chairs that I purchased were all fine so I will guess that this problem is not normal. Be sure to inspect your chair carefully before putting it together. I plan to order one more so that I have four chairs.

I thoroughly enjoyed the product. However, the seat assembly in one of the chairs was defective, and I needed to request a replacement, which was shipped to me by FedEx. It took a week to get here. Use UPS if you have a choice ! Chairs are on our spa deck, out in FL weather, except for an approaching hurricane. Highly recommend the manufacturer.

Though it was somewhat tricky to put together (could have used another pair of hands for some parts) the instructions were clear and it went together as expected and is exactly what I wanted in a straight-back patio chair. Looks like it will be durable. I ordered cushions for it as well, because Polywood is hard stuff.

Chair is a perfect size for my small front porch. Very comfortable and weather resistant and won't blow away.

Chairs are very rigid. No amount of pillows made them comfortable to sit on for very long.

Sturdy and easy to assemble. It should last for many years. I purchased the Mahogany color chair, 48" bench, and a side table. While I expected a deep reddish tone, but it is dark, rich brown that I am very happy with.

This product assembled easily and is comfortableHoweverI paid $264.00 for one chair that’s all was in stock and now only weeks later it’s advertised at $433.00 for the same chairI don’t think this is good business on Amazons part
