This is a pretty good cream that helped me reduce some spots on my face. First thing I will say is that this does not eliminate the spot. It will help reduce it. In more severe cases, it may only make it lighter. It does help with more stubborn spots on my hands which is great. When applying, you should make sure you evenly spread the cream onto your face. It does not have any terrible lingering smell. It is not a super strong smell. It also does not irritate my skin. It is pretty easy to apply. It had a bit of a cream not sticky feel to it. Overall this has done a great job with lightening up my spots. It does act as a a good moisturizer too so it does not dry or irritate the skin. It has light but not strong smell that does not linger. This contains Yellow 5 and Red 33 so be aware of that if you are sensitive to these.

This "NEOSTRATA Enlighten Pigment Controller, 1.7 fl. oz." has such a luxurious feel to it on my skin. I have really sensitive skin, and this serum is calming and gives me a glow. It glides on buttery and soaks in quickly. I'm able to apply makeup directly on this treatment without caking or streaking problems. I also find that it plays nice with my evening cream, too. I have faded freckles due to time and aging, but if I could accomplish completely diminishing (or close-enough) my smatterings, that would be awesome! I know it will take months to see the final result, but the serum is dense enough that a little goes a long way, so I know this 1.7oz container will last through the expected optimum performance time span.Overall, I'm pleased with the gentle radiance this serum gives my face, and anticipate excellent end results.(Helpful? NEOSTRATA Enlighten Pigment Controller does seem to reduce the darkness of spots, though I’m still testing on the spots on my hand. The vitamin C, E, and AHA is a potent combination to for resurfacing the skin, and while I know that’s great, I also have experiences with that combination giving me irritation on the face so I’ve been testing on the hand. I’m starting to get faint spots where my driving in the sun exposes my hand the most to the sun, and daily application of this corrector does seem to make it less visible. It’s pleasant to apply, with citrusy scent, yellow tint, and good lotion like texture, with a little bit of moisturizing. Since it has AHA which is not to be worn in the sun (unless you put sunblock over it), I regularly use it at bedtime. Made in USA.

I must say, I’ve been incredibly impressed with this product.I’ve been using it on my hands before bed.I have quite a few older burn marks on the top of my hands that never went away.After a week of using this, the marks have gone away!I could not believe that it worked so fast.Most products take more time, however this one worked fast!I have a few sun spots on my arms and have noticed them getting lighter.This is a great product!So HAPPY it removed the ugly burn marks so quickly!

I usually have breakouts here and there and it always leaves some time of pigment color. But after I found this NEOSTRATA Pigment controller, my problems have been solved! The brown/red spots on my spot has faded and even disappeared! I would also like to add that the ingredients list is great! It has vitamins C, E, and AHA, which are all great combinations for resurfacing skin! The controller also has a nice texture to it like moisturizing cream and has a light pleasant smell! Overall I am pleasantly surprised and is very excited to see what else this pigment controller can bring me! Highly Recommend if you are interested!!

I’ve been using this for a while, haven’t had any brightening, but have had a huge uptick in acne in the areas where I’ve applied the product. I’m very disappointed, especially since it cost so much!
