Named and Shamed: Pony girl training begins... (The Pony Tales) Paperback – May 19, 2017

This series is so fantastic! The authors style of writing makes every scene so vivid, you feel like you are actually there. There is a great balance in these books; characters share with you their emotions, the plot twists and turns without predictability, but with plenty on intrigue and the BDSM scenes are mind blowing. Mark is by far my favorite character as he is so sure of himself, so deliciously sadistic and yet he has a heart. The banter in these books is just amazing. The anticipation it builds and added intensity to the intimacy is unparalleled. I recommend this series whole-heartedly. Start with the first book and keep reading, it only gets better and better. Now anxiously awaiting the 6th book.

Review The Riding School is the first book of a series, therefore, I'll review the series here because I've finished it.Firstly, this is a dark ponygirl tale about a spoiled, young woman, Jenny, steeped in non-consensual slavery and familial betrayal. However, it's not really a story about that, but rather a vehicle for indulging in human pony play, (look it up) fetishes, (latex) sadism, spankings, canings, bondage, and more.So keeping in mind that this is a tale to be filed under "spank bank" I couldn't help but cringe about the number of consequences and their severity that Jenny had to endure. With all the plugs and electrical devices, and bondage she had to wear, there was not even a passing comment on IF and WHEN she was given an opportunity to take care of her bodily functions. For some reason, this bothered me a lot. The beatings were numerous, the dehumanization, gut-clenching. I got over it . . . a little bit. However, since it is a dark "spank bank" tale, don't overlook this series because it does deliver on the elements of pony play, abduction, nc, humiliation, latex fetish, sensory deprivation, spankings, caning

This story has a catching beginning but for me the main character was to much for me. She seemed to naïve that it drove me crazy reading this story. This story is action packed with punishments that make the reader hot under the collar, but makes the reader want to keep turning the pages.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Well, damn! I wish I had read books 1-3 before grabbing this one, though thankfully I did not have a hard time jumping right in. My reason for wishing I had rad the other books is based solely on how much I enjoyed this one and wanting MORE. NAMED AND SHAMED is an extremely hot BDSM erotic that STANDS OUT for it's EXCEPTIONAL WRITING. I'm so so so sick of poorly written and cheesy and BDSM. Thank you, CP Mandara, for bringing a standard back to the genre and raising the bar to where it NEEDS TO BE. Jenny's character is just... perfect. I loved everything about this book and will definitely NOT hesitate to buy anything else from this author, past present or future. If you like BDSM, this is like the filet mignon on the genre. Enjoy :)

So short could this be considered a real book? Could have condensed it into one book instead of short stories and then it jumps around a good bit to Jenny's thoughts to the other characters so u get vonfussed easily. Predictable

C. P. Mandara's Named and Shamed is not for lovers of vanilla romance. It's BDSM - specifically of the Pony Girl sub-genre. There's lots of rough sex, lots of whipping, lots of heavy breathing ... and a lot of fun, if you're a fan of such things. This entry in Mandara's series is longer than earlier entries, and that will be welcome news to her fans. The squick factor is fairly high, but so is the erotic charge.Definitely not for kids, but recommended for pony-girl BDSM fans.

Some it can be too extreme. A large wealthy organized group is going to let some of their trainers permanently damage their ponies.

Jenny is in for a roller coaster ride in this book. Orgasm denial, spankings, nettles - you name it and Jenny will find it at Albrecht Stables. Whilst the pony-girl shenanigans are top notch, I'm enjoying Mark's office full of submissive girlies. Ms Mandara writes sex with a practiced hand and the steamy scenes will have you dribbling for more. I know I was.I have to confess I'm a fan of Mark, though. Alpha males rock. Does he get his girl? Now that would be telling...
