Epic Ice Bucket & Carrier #43-378

I love these ice bags - they are brilliant. We found them when we were served cold white wine in Switzerland last summer. I often have room temp. Chardonnay and thought I'd put them through the test. I like this brand, Epic, and it lasted longer than one marked "ice bag" or something similar (which split in 2 places). I have not had any problems with it leaking. No, I don't work for any of them. I'm a teacher who just enjoys a cold glass of Chardonnay on the weekends :)

I was going to only buy one but figured I would buy the pack of 12 for a little less and give some away as gifts. Friends and family love it and we use it about every week. They keep everything in a nice neat package. You get a condensation of course but the look and style is nice. We mainly use them outside or put a towel down inside.

I first came across these on a recent trip to Southern France. A friend, whose house we stayed at, had one and used it to quickly chill rose and white wines. Simple design, easy to fill, sits flat on a table, doesn't break if you accidentally knock it over, and can easily be dumped out when it has served it's purpose. And they take up little storage space when not in use. These were available in grocery and specialty stores in France, but the prices were higher and I didn't want to add it to may already full luggage.

We first saw one of these used in a French bistro in Atlanta & thought it was chic. We really like how it looks, and it does a good job. The ones we ordered are a little big for a 750 ml bottle of wine; it requires so much ice. It will be best for champagne. There might be a smaller size available, but we'll just use the ones we have. We're happy with this purchase.

We belong to a pool with an ice machine. Last summer I tried the frozen Amazon "Metrokane Rabbit Wine and Beverage Chiller", but it only chilled the bottle for 2 hours. This year we can stay at the pool all day and still have a chilled bottle at the end of the day. Fits standing in the cooler section of our Amazon "All In One Picnic Travel Backpack Plates Cutlery Set," to protect the glass bottle near the pool.

As said before - this is a nice alternative to ice bucket (compact and yet functional).Due to the fact that the bag is plastic - finally it will wear through and leak.My first two became unusable within 6 months or so.But for this price - very nice.

I saw these in Europe last week and knew I should have bought them. But once I saw them on amazon I couldn't pass it up. I've Used them at a party to keep bottles of champagne cold or on the buffet bar to keep two bottles of white wine cold. My mother in law suggested to use them for sparkling waters. Great product. No leaks. Handles were ok. Will use over and over.

Great bag to give as a Christmas gift or to bring to a friends house or just to use for a quiet supper on the beach. Love the fact that you can see what kind of wine is inside and add a bunch of holiday tissue paper and your good to go. It truly keeps your wine chilled for hours but I doubt that the wine last that long.
