Very high quality sound from the headphones, as well as a good microphone. I edited the video in Adobe Premiere and I am very pleased with the sound. The sound is clear and has a good frequency range and is separated by tracks. The microphone is also of good quality, but when you are recording a speech, you need to lower it and hold it under your chin to avoid blowing, since it does not have wind protection

I was recommended the Sennheiser SC 165 USB headphones as I wanted them for speech software purposes. Maybe this isn't a fair review, however, the microphone does not work properly. I have carried out several tests using Windows 10 and it's only receiving 3% of the signal. I also tried the headset with Dragon NaturallySpeaking which also told me there was an issue with the microphone. On another note, I notice that some reviews are saying that there is not a jack plug! However, there is, it looks like the Jack plug is all one piece, it's not! Some customers are saying that the headphones are not adjustable, they are! Update: I have purchased the same headset from another supplier, the microphone works absolutely fine and is working well with Dragon NaturallySpeaking (speech software). When I opened the original headset I had the feeling that they had probably been returned before! I have updated the star rating from 1 to 5 stars.

Bought for video conferencing during Covid-19 lockdown. Very confortable headphones, earpiece sound quality is good. Have had negative comments about quality of sound from microphone when using with phone, but testing recording on a laptop seems very good so most likely a phone or phone compatibility issue. The headset has a 4 pole 3.5mm plug standard for headsets on modern phones and laptops. Also supplied is a USB adaptor which includes call control buttons, but I haven't really used this.

Lots of so called noise cancelling headphones which are useless when sat near other people talking in the background. Those mics don’t reject those voices. However, these headphones are perfect and only pick up your voice.

- not made by Sennheiser. As you can see from the photos, this is an EPOS product, badged by Sennheiser. That's fraud. Deceit. - when the headphones arrive, they were delivered in a plastic bag. No box. Obviously, this had been returned before. I've been sent a rejected item. Shocking! - When plugged into my MacOS Monterey, iOS iMac 27" (2018), neither the audio jack nor the USB actually worked. No sound. No voice transmission. What annoys me the most about this is, I had asked if this was iOS compatible and was told 'yes'.

The construction seems good enough but the ear pads are fairly hard and the rubber head support is quite narrow, neither of which make them very comfortable over extended periods. I would have thought comfort would be an important priority on a headset. If I were to buy again these wouldn't be the ones. On the plus side, they sound good.

Bought this since returning to the office but still being stuck on MS Teams calls all day. Sound quality is brilliant (been happily listening to music between calls) and noise cancelling microphone also works perfectly. Can take calls now at my desk without other people in the meeting being annoyed with the office background noise. 5 star purchase. Plug and play - no need for additional software - even on my Linux (Manjaro) home laptop.

Currently I’m just using the analogue output of the headset with the Teams or Skype and that does work reliably. When using the USB connection with Teams it just does not connect sometimes and you can’t hear what is being said in the meeting or make yourself heard. The headset is so unreliable using the USB connection that you can fire up Teams ready for a meeting use the diagnostic echo test in Teams which works fine but when you go into the Teams meeting minutes later the link has failed, completely ridiculous. The documentation for the kit is minimal with no Trouble shooting information.

I bought these to use when working at home. The sound quality is excellent. I have listened to music on these and the clarity and sound of the treble, mid and bass tones is wonderful to listen to. I have not had any problems with these headphones during conference calls. The inline controls work well to answer/hang up, increase/decrease volume and to mute calls (works in MS Teams). Due to them being on ear they don't block out much ambient sound (my house gets noisy sometimes). They are pretty comfortable for about an hour, then I have to take them off to give my ears a break.

Bought these to replace 5yr old Logitech H390 which I love but leatherette peeling off ear pads and head pad. Almost bought the same but decided to try something different because this also has 3.5mm (as well as USB) connection which I can use on mobile phone. These are fantastic - sound great. Light weight and feel very comfortable. One thing I don't like is that the USB connector is a long way from headphones so if you are not careful it can hit the ground but it has to be like that because the 3.5mm cord from headphone to connector has to be a reasonable length. The microphone swings on the inside of headband (instead of outside) and there is a resting place on inside of headband. Very happy with product.

great hedphones for work, but they’re not designed for listening to music. The sound quality is very good, but they’re not the loudest. Also, they are meant for work so you can still hear people talking to you through them. The mic is quite good, better than the product reviews you can find on youtube. I have a usb microphone for work and only need to use the headset mic when I’m away from my desk. I needed a headset that I could use only as headphones while using my other microphone or listening to music while working, but I could also use for meetings when I’m not at my desk.
