1000Amp K4000 Carbon Arc Air Gouging Torch with 7' Cable (K4000)

Out of the box thing were pretty good and it ran 3/16 rod just fine. However I wish they change the air fitting to something more useful. The thread form is very close to 3/8 npt so I ran a tap through it and now it works with standard fittings but it should at least come with an adapter. After fixing that everything worked and it was eating up welds like it should.

Unfortunately, I reside in one of only three countries out of 192 that still use English system of measurement (US, Liberia, Myanmar—???). Air fittings on this arc gouge torch are metric. Good luck finding them in your local hd or the other place. Other than that , it works excellent; even without any sort of directions included.

Item works just as we needed it to so we will continue to buy more when the time comes.

It's heavy-duty and bigger then it looks. I would for sure buy agin it works great.

Used to cut apart a steel concrete form panel that was assembled wrong and was able to reuse every piece without much tell.

Never used one of these before so I didn’t go with the name brand one or the cheapest. It works. To be fair I have nothing to compare it to. And there was a moderate learning curve. It’s bulky and the button for the air leaks by when in off position. It is not a spring loaded momentary button either.
