Amazing Transformation of our Ugly Chairs!
I have two old faux leather chairs in our rec room that have been worn down by 3 children over several years. They started to peel little bits of the fake leather covering and it was driving me crazy. The bits were covering the floor and also being tracked by feet throughout the rest of the house. Not wanting to buy new chairs again I decided to try some recliner covers. I was hesitant with the mixed reviews this one received, but I am so glad I decided to give it a chance! These are wonderful and I feel like I have brand new chairs again! Best part is that there are no more awful peelings all over the place. The recliners are quite large, so this review is for large recliners and I can't really tell you how they would work for smaller sized ones. The fabric stretches really well. The only one I had some trouble with is the top center piece. It stretched to the bottom center crease of the chair but barely. And it didn't stay put with my kids sitting in it. So I actually turned it around backwards, so that the longer side with the 2 small loop holes are on the front of the chair. This gave me the extra material needed to tuck it in and have it stay in place. The seam goes straight across just below mid bottom of the back, but it doesn't look bad IMO. The chairs also have wide ends on the foot rest and I did have to stretch them quite a bit, but the cover did fit onto them. Other than that, all pieces stay in place, even with 3 boys constantly sitting on them. The material is soft and so far I don't see any pilling. We do have dogs that don't sleep on the chairs but do get a little dog hair on them from being around them, and I've been able to lint roll the hair right off. I have not washed yet, so no review to report on that. But ANYTHING is better than what the chairs were before I covered them. Look at the pictures to see for yourself.

Great fit, but fabric wears easily
PROS:• great gray color — neutral and fits with many design styles• diamond pattern helps break up the big uni-color area• good fit for our medium-size recliner (follow the included instructions for great fit, plus a few staples in some key spots help hide excess fabric)• reasonable priceCONS:• one seam was already ripped (about 1 inch) right out of the package (it's on one of the arm pieces, so I just flipped it around so the tear is toward the back)• fabric pills and shows wear after only a few weeks of light use (mainly a kitty sleeping on the chair a few times a week)• remote control pocket looks dated — without the pocket, the cover would look more modern with cleaner linesUpdate 3/21/2016:Overall we still like the look of the cover on the chair, but the lack in quality of the fabric is showing after only a few weeks. The jersey-type fabric is pilling, showing pulls and seems to be shifting around a bit (definitely not the same as using a more custom cover with upholstery fabric). For the relatively low price, I think this is still ok, and I think I can work around the worn areas with some decorative pillows and maybe a throw. It still looks better than our shredded fabric chair looked before, I was just hoping for a bit more time of use of our "like new" chair (a few months at least). It may be a trade off between the great fit the jersey fabric provides (because it is so stretchy, it can be pulled and tucked in place just right) and the durability of an upholstery fabric cover that would be more expensive (since it would have to be custom sewn to fit perfectly). I think this cover is a good value for a more decorative, light use recliner — ideally for a house without pets that might use the chair — but I don't think it would hold up to regular, much less daily use.Original Review 3/3/2016:Fit better than I expected and gives new life to a previously "cat-destroyed" chair. I'll be using staples to hold excess fabric better in place and make the fit look more custom, but overall a nice slipcover.

Not Pleased
This product looks great in the pic shown; however, the only section that fit so snugly was the back part. Neither the sides, nor the seat/foot section stayed put. I used rolled up magazines as the directions suggested to tuck into the cracks to keep the fabric snug & in place. They fell out of the bottom of the chair. My chair has a little more cushion than the one in their picture so perhaps if you have a very sleek recliner, it will fit like this. I was really disappointed because I did like the fabric and the back part looked nice when it was in tact. At the time of my purchase, this product was not reviewed at all so I took a chance.

Happy with purchase
We purchased a set to cover our living room furniture. There is a little bit of a learning curve putting the covers over the furniture, but if you actually lay the item out flat and look at it for a minute, you can figure out which side goes where. This is important to note because, while it comes with placement stickers that tell you were the arms and back are, these won't be on the item after a washing so you need to be able to figure it out yourself. For the loveseat and sofa, the pieces stretch out well and fit snugly. For the recliner, the cover comes in three pieces. The back and arms fit great. The problem is the bottom part does NOT want to stay on. We manage to get it on and it looks great when the leg rest is in the down position, but if you actually use the chair and position the leg rest up, it pops off.If you have cats or small dogs that like to get on the furniture, I would be worried about these covers. The material is stretchy and, if it gets caught on a claw (or even a long fingernail) it will stretch. While we haven't put a hole in ours yet, we've already had a few close calls with the material getting snagged. The color is great. It is a nice neutral tone that blends in well with our living room without being bland. And more importantly, the color is consistent across all pieces. A lot of times there is a slight mismatch is shades with this sort of item.
