I use a tsp of this Maca in my morning smoothie. I love it!Pros:-USDA certified organic. No GMOs, an all natural product without any unwanted additives-Navitas Naturals is a trusted company, available for sale at most major health food websites, my local Target (!!) and their own third party website (there can be a lot of weird no-name supplement companies on Amazon, I trust this one!)-Gelatinized version is easily processed by the body versus raw which is debatable (at least in smoothies)-Resealable bag - my maca is nice and fresh-Lots of ENERGY from this product! Just a tsp a day gives you a big jolt! Some mornings, after having my smoothie I didn't even realize that I barely touched my morning coffee. Natural energy boost without having to consume caffeine-Over time will help balance hormones which I really need as a busy, full time working mother who wishes to have another child. Maca is recommended on natural fertility sites as a recommended natural supplement.-Taste: mild, I don't notice it in my smoothies. It blends right in without being overpowering.Cons:-None, I'm happy with this product and have purchased it multiple times as well as other Navitas Naturals.Bottom line: I recommend this for anyone looking to add a boost to their smoothies or other natural beverages. Its high quality, it works as intended for me, and its a reputable company. Buying from a reputable company is important in the unregulated supplement market.

I am so happy I discovered this.Oh my God,turning 50 left me a little dry down below,my energy is amazing and my partner and my sex life is thriving this really boosts your libido.I love it and will not live without it mixed in to 2 oz of plain yogurt every morning.Its delicious.

Since being diagnosed in 2016 with a severe case of Crohn's desease. I've choose a more holistic approach after many failed infusion medication attempts for my incurable desease. After many hours of research my list of necessary supplements & proper weight gaining protein powder needed for my vitamin & protein absorption I always include this delicious Maca powder! It's a slightly nutty, vanilla flavoring with the end product being smooth not gritty & when you think it can't get much better it does, the boost I get after my shake is a noticeable and last substantially for hours throughout the day! I highly recommend this product.I'm vacationing for 2 weeks and forgot my Maca powder, ordered it on Amazon w/free shipping it arrived the following day. After arrival I noticed powder on other items ordered & realized a slight miss in the machine seal on top of the bag, I wrote a review regarding this issue opting to keep the product. However within 2days the seller sent me a brand new bag without my knowledge! I was so surprised & needless to say extremely pleased I was able to find a vendor that reads there reviews and acted so exponentially on the situation I will continue purchasing my product from them & highly recommend them and their superb product!

4* because of the TINY amount you get. I barely got 8 teaspoons in the package. The only reason it got 4 was because it is an AMAZING product. Added it to morning coffee for someone I love without telling them. Their mood is stable, no late night snacking, insane energy. After the 8 doses did tell them, now looking for a source that isn't $1 per serving.

A friend suggested that I add maca powder to my smoothies and I bought this brand. It adds an odd flavor to my smoothies. And it's kinda gritty. I never felt any difference though so I don't use it anymore.

....because THAT is how effective it is! At least for me. I've done the BCAA's, Creatine, and a variety of other quality training supplements and I always go as natural as i can find. While much of it is effective, I have NEVER experienced the energy boost this stuff provides! It kicks in within 10-15 minutes and jacks your workouts like nothing you have ever used or tried!! ...with NO jitters or other side effects. I don't use it every day because I don't NEED it every day. But if its my workout day and I'm feeling a little sluggish about getting after it, this stuff is the cure. It is fuels your body in a way nothing else does. I still use a few items from Bulk Supplements, pre and post workout. But the Novitas Maca is in a class by itself for what I've described. As for the myriad of opinions about the bad taste, get over it. I down it with coffee or juice or just about anything but water. Do I still taste it a little? Yes, but hey--its worth it for the RESULTS. People whine a lot about taste. You don't buy this stuff for the taste. Chew some gum for a few minutes if the aftertaste lingers---there's plenty of ways to disguise it. Be creative. If thats the one disappointment for all the good you get, I'm fine with it.(one last thing----READ the directions & FOLLOW them! No need to take more than what it says)

Okay, so I purchased these because I thought they would help with recovery after sports / exercise. But after two weeks of putting this in my daily green smoothie, my libido had a HUGE increase. I mean HUGE increase in my libido! I did not read up on Maca before purchasing this, so it was quite a nice surprise :) I'm not sure if it helps with body aches after exercise, but it definitely gives a BIG increase is libido as is stated on the internet.I purchased some pill form Maca Powder from a different company after my bag ran out - but I had a big drop in my libido after I switched! I will definitely be ordering the Navitas Naturals Organic Maca again and again. This stuff is way too nice to not have as a daily supplement! I just wish they offered it in pill form.Taste is pretty strong, but you get used to it and actually start to crave it a little bit. Though some days I wish it didn't taste so strong. The taste overpowers all the other ingredients in my smoothie. I think I'm going to see about scooping it up into gelatin capsules.
