No good product

Bought this to replace a long serving McCulloch strimmer that was past its best. This one starts up every time without fuss and makes easy work of long grass and weeds. Very powerful, which means it flicks up stones if you are not careful: I have accidentally broken 2 windows and an expensive glass door this summer. It comes with a harness rather than a mere shoulder strap, well worth it as this is not a light machine. Very economical with fuel - a full tank often lasts as much as two hours. McCulloch have redesigned the wire cutting head, but I prefer the older version.

Brilliant strimmer very powerful. The quality is great. A bit weighty but it has a strap well worth it .

Easily makes top 10 worst things i've ever bought or acquiredManual is uselessOnce put together and running - forget using is as a strimmer; you'll go insane quicker than you'll strim anything useful; as the wire breaks every 10 seconds, it takes a further 10 minutes to get more wire out as you have to completely dismantle the absolutely terribly "homer simpson" designed wire unit and try to put it back together without all the wire springing out all over the place; forget the neatly designed push button wire dispenser as it doesn't workThe brush cutter attachment is lethal; I dread to wonder how many claims McCulloch's legal department get through their doors on a daily basis; it also makes the entire machine vibrates incredibly uncomfortably to the point you cannot practically use itWorst of all Amazon will not accept a return even for a defective machineAmazon and McCulloch both appear to be peddling junk and washing their hands of any comeback from it

Works well easy to assemble good quality product

First impressions were that it was nowhere near as good as the brush cutter I had hired previously but ok ... It's not a pro tool that's ok. The strap is useless, pushes my arm against the engine casing and does not hang nicely for easy cutting. Maybe I put it on wrong as there are no instructions. Again the rented one was effortless. Did the job though. Second use it would not start. After exhausting myself pulling the starter just to have it stutter and die I pulled and cleaned the plug, no improvement, then inspected the (clean) air filter. The thing worked when I refitted the filter. So ... It clearly was not installed properly. It's only a bit of foam ..... Having to maintain a tool on its second use is not very promising. I bought it as I'm a 63 yr old man with angina and it was supposed to keep the jungle that used to be a garden under control until next year when I will have time to sort it properly. I was so exhausted once I got it running I had to stop before finishing the job ... Would have been better off using a shears. Hopefully it will start next time but I'm really not impressed do far ...

Easy enough to assemble, starts OK, little on heavy side. Will change bump head to metal so can use stronger 4mm string.

Ho già avuto altri decespugliatori della stessa marca e devo ammettere che mi sono sempre trovato molto bene.Ottimo motore Husqvarna a 2 tempi, ottima larghezza di taglio, secondo me l'unico neo è la testina in dotazione in quanto arrotolarvi il filo e richiuderla richiede un elevata dose di ingegno e pazienza.Comunque mi sento di consigliarne l'acquisto anche perchè in un secondo momento si può decidere di acquistare il tronca rami (una piccola motosega) o il taglia siepi da poter innestare sul tronco del decespugliatore stesso.
