Best but for your money with a 1 year warranty to Boot!
We are in our second one of these useful expandable and collapsable hoses. Had I read the fine print that warranted each hose for one year, I could had the second one free. We had a pin point leak in the hose, most likely from scraping across are garden rocks. Keep your date of purchase handy just in case. The nozzle isn’t the best but most settings work pretty good! I can use my own if I choose! But the 100 ft lightweight hose is worth every penny. I use my on a regular basis here in Texas! We have now bought three of these. Every time the hose leaks on n about the same spot, getting my feet wet.Is there a premium expandable hose that might last longer? I love this hose.ThanksJackie

Great hose so far. The nozzle is actually useable, not just an afterthought.
UPDATED REVIEW 9/30/2019 - SCROLL TO BOTTOM:I have owned 3 other brands of these lightweight , more modern design hoses. The original that I knew of (on the market) was the one advertised as the "Pocket Hose". Easy to lug around but not very durable. They lasted a year or two maybe. Other brands came later, some having more thickness or extra insulation / insurance re leaks. We inadvertently killed one hose (similar to this but diff brand) with my rose bush - see further below for caveat. This 2019 Upgraded 100 ft hose was purchased because my wife can't lug around a conventional hose anymore. It is no longer "optional" for my household to buy these type of hoses, it is (ergonomically) a necessity.Great hose so far. The nozzle is actually useable, not just an afterthought. (Some of these hoses thrown in an obligatory nozzle which is either ergonomically poor or the spray pattern is imprecise or they just suck - not so here.)I will start with a 3 star durability rating. I love the substantial brass hardware and the built-in shutoff valve at the end of the hose. I will upgrade the durability rating to higher if it lasts 2 entire years or more.CAVEATS TO ALL OF THESE MODERN mesh/flex skinned hoses:One has to manage expectations on long term durability.1) AVOID ROSE BUSH STALKS LIKE THE PLAGUE! ONE ROSE THORN PUNCTURE AND THIS TYPE OF HOSE BECOMES UN-REPAIRABLE. It will be your fault. The mesh/weave laminated hose design is just not meant to deal with punctures or being driven over, etc. IF you have a rose bush - say on a corner of your house -- and you are going to be dragging this hose around that corner, it's a wise idea to put either a stake (or stakes) in the ground 8 - 12 inches in front of the rose, or a potted plant large enough to act as a "wrap around" buffer zone. A foot long piece of 1" X 3" Cedar will also work and possibly look better. JUST a suggestion. YMMV.2) You can't use these with pressure washing equipment -- well, let's say it's not recommended.3) I have noticed / experienced a water pressure drop with THIS flex/mesh hose which I chalk up to the 100ft distance and the flex design of the hose. Symptom: My oscillating sprinkler does not "throw" as far as when I use a conventional 3/4 diameter heavy duty Gilmour brand hose. My estimate of pressure loss (at endpoint) that I am experiencing is like 10%. This is * not * the end of the world to me but it's noticable. NOTE: The city and my plumber have told me our house has an above average water pressure. My point: While these hoses are convenient to haul around, I personally would be disinclined to have a run of this kind of hose longer than 100 feet.I don't view these hoses as being something intended for long term heavy duty / industrial / farm work. For people who are elderly or people not up for wrastling with the bulk & weight of heavy duty hoses, the tradeoff of erognomic convenience vs. long term durability may very well be worth it.UPDATE: This hose worked great until mid August 2019, then catastrophic failure. An inside sheathing burst. I had it on a timer, still pressurized, overnight. I do that often. With a conventional hose I wouldn't give it a 2nd thought. It did a minor flooding of my back yard. With these new style expandable hoses, I guess it's A Bridge Too Far (or a pressurized hose too far). I'm expecting the water bill from Hell. I am lowering the rating from 5 stars to 2 start. Sorry, I just expect a bit more sturdyness than 3 months use. Now that Fall is here with early winter freeze attacks (Oregon) I'm not going to order another hose till next Spring. I still have my conventional hoses as backups. I'll probably buy a different brand of expandable hose and will be sure to baby it even more. It's the nature of the beast with these kind of hoses. The tradeoff of convenience for lessened durablity.

Three years and as good as new
Ordered this in April 2020. Still performs like it then after three years of hard use.

Sturdy hose, but cumbersome to use
This hose works well, sprayer has 10 settings for varied uses. However, when watering, if you have it stretched out to the furthest plant before you turn on the sprayer on, the force of the water is okay. If you try to move the hose around while still watering, you will get less water coming out. I found that the hose also retracts while I am watering and thus gives less water flow when I am moving around. I have another similar type of hose that doesn't have this problem. On the positive side, it seems sturdy so far and does reach a long distance. I would recommend choosing a different hose, if you need to use for multiple areas. I am making it work, but it takes a lot of extra effort.

Worst hose ever!
I bought two of these hoses months apart (2019 and 2020) At first they were awesome. However, both hoses developed severe leaks where they connect to the water source. We tried taping, etc. but they are now rendered useless. If you want to buy a new house every couple of years - this one is for you. They have been leaking since 2021….
