Very durable!
I ordered this water bowl to keep our goat watered while we were on vacation. The bowl is made of super sturdy materials. I am very pleased with its construction. I had to make a quick run to the hardware store to get fittings so that we could attach a garden hose to the bowl water supply.This water bowl works exactly how it’s advertised. Unfortunately, our goat wasn’t smart enough to figure out how to push the lever to deliver the water.I would recommend this product if a you are shopping for a self-watering bowl.

Not easy to connect. Does not connect to hose
Sturdy, and I think it will work well. I have yet to install because it does not connect to a hose. I have to go to ace to get the parts in order to connect it.

Great water bowl
Very easy to install. Helps to save water, along with keeping a fresh supply at hand. I have one for my dogs and one for my goats. A must have when supplying water for multiple animals.

GREAT FOR INSTALLING AS AN AUTOMATIC DOG WATERING BOWL
The size of the product is just right for using it as a dog watering bowl. The installation was easy and straight forward.It reduces standing water issues and provides cool water to our dogs regularly, not to mention we do not have to remind the kids to change out the dog's water out on the back porch.

My goats wouldn't use the waterer.
It may work for sheep but the listing specifically mentions goats and in my experience, our goats won't touch this waterer. If you have sheep, It's sturdy and seems to function as it should.

Need another fitting, can’t get farm animals to use it
This is a nice concept, but our sheep will not use it because of two reasons. The have to push the black piece on the back to actuate the valve. We cannot train them to do it because When the valve actuates the water makes a loud rushing sound and scares them off. They will drink from it when I fill it with water, but that kind of defeats the principle. You will also need a female hose swivel to female 1/2” npt fitting and Teflon tape to install this. As well as a few screws. Would not recommend for goats or sheep, but may work for dogs.

Perfect for hogs/pigs
Works Excellent for hogs/pigs. Not so much for goats, but this is exactly what i needed. Ty
