HUIHUIKK 1PRS Nearsighted Short-Sighted Lightweight Glasses **These are not reading glasses**

very lightweight but good overall
These are more lightweight and less durable (I think) than a normal pair of glasses you'd purchase with a prescription, but I'm amazed and happy that this is an option! By the end of the day, sometimes my vision is too blurry to see to drive or watch tv without squinting. These are just to have on hand in those situations, so I didn't want to purchase expensive glasses. HOWEVER, for people that need them daily and just can't swing paying hundreds of dollars right now, this will help you be able to see to function! I'm sure they are more fragile than a more expensive pair, but they can certainly help if you can't afford glasses or just need an occasional bit of help. I had purchased a pair of -0.50 prior, and sometimes that's all I need, but that was a different unisex pair, and the frame is too big. If I'm just sitting in one spot watching tv or driving, it will work, but I wouldn't wear them around in public, because they are too loose. If you are woman or smaller person, I'd look for a women's pair like this one. This one fits pretty nicely, because it's not huge. Many years ago, I worked for an opthalmologist and later for two different optometrists--all who dispensed their own glasses. I'm excited this is an option as are "readers." These are the opposite of readers, so don't buy them if that's what you want!! If you don't know your prescription, you can take your current glasses to an optical shop where they can read it for you, or you could call and ask for a copy of your last prescription even if it's too old to fill. You will be looking for the "sphere or spherical" specifications, not the cylinder or axis (that's for astigmatism correction and this won't help that). I'd look for the closest numbers to that. This is probably a godsend for those that are doing without.

Short-Sighted:-)
The glasses are very good quality for the price. I actually use readers but bought these to attempt eye exercises to improve my vision. I wear these for awhile trying to force my eyes to focus in an effort to reduce my need for readers. It actually seems to be working, I was using 2.5 readers but now I'm using 2.0.I guess the seller doesn't realize there is a difference in meaning between, "near-sighted" and, "short-sighted";-) Short sighted is the act of never considering the impact your current actions will have on your future.

Works well for my purpose
I am nearsighted and I wear progressive lenses. When I am doing close work, I am using the bottom range of my progressives, which is a small area. I had contemplated getting an extra pair of glasses with just the bottom prescription. Since I know my bottom prescription, and it is the same in both eyes, I decided to try these glasses. They work well for my purpose and I wear them a lot around the house. The quality of the frame is not great, but the price was right. These only work if you have the same prescription in both eyes. In my case, I had to see what the bottom prescription was. Hope this helps.

Awful, very blurry
I got these to help with reading text while playing video games. They do make the TV look bigger, but it is just soooo blurry. Any small details are indistinguishable.

Attractive and seem well made
I ordered these from Amazon in “desperation” after breaking my regular glasses. I have a three month wait to see my doctor for a new prescription and had to do something for glasses in the interim. I used my old prescription to order the right strength and was surprised that these work well and look good.It is important for me to say these are very basic glasses. There is no bifocal and no correction for astigmatism or vision issue other than not too severe myopia. These glasses don’t have a focal point specific to my eyes. I got very lucky. Still, I am very happy with these glasses. They are correcting my vision almost as well as my expensive glasses and are allowing me to drive safely and see clearly until I can get replacement glasses.

Blurry since not my pupillary distance (PD)
Bought the strongest power -6.0's, and it gave me extremely narrow field of view which was decently crisp, not blurry, but otherwise everything else is blurry. Like just enough to read a street sign, but certainly not safe to drive. I think the PD of these glasses just was not a match. My PD is 62, so these seem to be far from that. Nice construction otherwise, certainly light weight.

Very nice for the price
I was looking for a cheap pair of glasses to wear out in the yard and came across these. I figured for the price, I'd take a chance and man was I glad I did. The prescription is right on point. Now I can't lie, they are cheap frames/glasses but the price reflects that. I'd say these are great as a 2nd pair for lounging around the house or doing yard work and times when you might not need those fancy designers.

Spouse loves these
My hubby loves these his sight isn't horrible so these work great cheap enough for him to have like 5 pairs and not flip his lid if he breaks them while at work or during a fun activity

Waste of $20
I liked the low price and they work at short distances from arms length, to about 20 feet, but then are blurry after that. Extended wear was making me dizzy. Was going to keep as spares, but they broke shortly after, the return window has since closed, so I've wasted my money. There is most likely a reason there are little options for near-sighted glasses online, was hoping these were a goos deal that slipped through but that is not the case.
