Excellent product
The material is heavy and thick. Does the job. I used a brush. I used it on the engine cover of my RV. Before that they had a glued on foam -aluminum insulation. Terrible This was a real improvement.

Cool stuff.
Cool stuff. Easy to apply as long as you have the gun they sell which i did. Leaves a nice coating but very hard to get it to the thickness they recommend because you have to have more of it on stand by which costs more. This bucket did the drivers side and passenger floor boards and most of the trans tunnel of a 69 vette just under the 20 on their thickness gauge.

Perfect counterpart to the sound deadner product
Perfect counterpart to the sound deadner product. My husband uses both products when redoing classic cars. This really helps with some of the motor/tunnel heat. Easy to spray, easy to clean up while wet. Great product. We are fans of the 1 gallon size over the 2 gallon.

Surpassed my expectations.
It is pricey, their gun is definitely needed. Single disappointment, product didn't cover as much as I expected. I am rehabbing my 1994 Jeep YJ, adding AC for the Arizona summers and decided to use this to help the AC as much as possible. Thermal insulation is better than I imagined, thermometer showed 40* in metal panels from inside to outside. Sound insulation is better than I expected. When the two stages are layered, they compliment each other and the designed purpose of them is improved. Honestly think a larger hopper for the gun would help. Damp rag or towels handy to quickly clean up helps too! Clean up is very easy. I have two more gallons in my garage waiting for my hard top and other applications. I will likely use this on metal corral roof to help keep shaded area in my backyard cooler as well. Love this stuff! My nephew used the sound insulation liners for his bronco restoration. When he felt and saw the Lizard Skin he regretted not going that route and intends to for the rest of his restoration.

Sprays terrible
I bought the proper spray gun and have a large compressor. I could not get this to spray well at all, it was so bad I hosed and scrubbed it off. The sound control spray was fine. This product was terrible, unuseable and a huge waste of time and money. I have sprayed many brands of sound control coatings, bedliners and painted entire cars. Trust me when I say this is complete garbage. I actually threw away the remaining amount it was so bad. I cant leave 0 stars which is what this product deserves.

Works Great
It comes as thick as mud and wasn't going to spray anyway so I brushed it on. I used a large brush and the one can was enough to do the entire floor on my 65 fastback including the trunk. Had enough for a second coat around the engine area. I made my own little test piece and put it in the sun, it definitely works. Kilsmat installed over the Lizard Skin. Overall huge difference.
