Rubicon ExpressRE9900 Control Arm Drop Bracket for Jeep XJ

Update: please note you will not get the flex without having sway bar disconnects or no sway bar at all. I highly recommend re disconnects over other brands. Very sturdy and have grease fitting on all bushings and adjustable. The only limiting factor to flex is your shocks I’m running skyjacker 7000 hydros and have had no issues.Update: added flex is awesome see pics.Quality product but does require some mechanical aptitude to install. I have a 91 Jeep xj with 6” lift and this puts my rough country lower control arms level with the ground. Def notice better ride quality have not tested flex yet but am not worried about it failing. Have read many good things about RE and their products.

This works perfectly for restoring close to factory control arm geometry. The kit was installed on my 1987 Jeep Comanche MJ. I'd recommend to any CoMANche owner. 💪💪

I used this drop bracket kit with 4.5in RE springs and an appropriate track bar to get the front end of my Comanche in line. These brackets lower your front control arm frame attachment points to bring geometry of a lifted vehicle closer to stock and they're available from various manufacturers for pretty much all coil spring Jeeps. I went with RE because I trust them to build their products appropriately and I wasn't going to have to wait for a man in a shed to make them. I used stock WJ boxed control arms, which requires minor modification of the axle side bushing but no modification at the RE bracket side. My rig aligns like it isn't modified at all, and that's a massive benefit of these brackets.

BUY THE RE9905 SUPPORT PLATES! An hour into wheeling I smacked a rock and bent the frame. The only reason I’m giving this a 3 star. It should be a full kit with the plates, I wouldn’t be long arming my Jeep if I had the plates but here we are.

received the brackets today today is everything listed was present, the packing was a little loose but we are talking about a metal piece not a phone, even though it was a little scratched up its still fine. I will install them this weekend and update you guys on how the car performs.

Fits well without any serious modifications and easy to install. Well made. All the required hardware and information in the package. The ride quality is extremely improved. Xj 2000 6" lift

Got these for my xj instead of long arms. I have 5.5 inches in the front with the re springs and these restored my control arm angles to almost stock. Seem heavy duty. Haven't drove the jeep with them yet though so I'll update when I get it on the road

Does not come with the braces. That is separate and needed of your gonna offroad.
