Can I use this lights to use in a batting cage for 3 or 4 hrs ? Or do you have a better led choice around the same price

You can absolutely use these lights in a batting cage....AFTER you purchase a pair of 850nm-responsive night vision goggles. To be safe, I would start with a higher end pair in the $3,000-$4,000 range. Another option is to simply purchase an LED (or other type) light that emits light in the visible spectrum that the human eye can see.

Anyone know the difference between this and the ir200? same manufacturer, wavelength, and number of leds?

IR130 has tilt and rotation base, however IR200 model only has up and down adjustment. IR130 has 60 degree infrared flood beam, while IR200 has 45 degree infrared flood beam.

What is the glow like for this? I'm not wanting to draw a lot of attention to it, so not sure if this is the way to go, or if I need to upgrade to something with 940nm

I own 6 of these over a few years now. they light up your property like it was the 4th of July.......Dont worry about the very minimal red glow , its a deterent in itself , and id say it looks stealthy..cool......They are Great.......the Hermanator I B Back! And by that i mean back for more. CM vision also stands behind there products...I had an issue on one which quickly became history....no problem with assitance in replacement if necessary...which is also unlikely.! 3 Cheers for CM Vision !!

For those using this as light therapy. How do you use it in terms of duration and distance from body?

Hey Jeff. In short, you want to do it at 12" away as there is about 17mW/cm2 at that distance (I used my TES-1333 light meter to determine that). If you put it right up against your skin you'd receive way too much at 100mW/cm2. And as for duration, you want to do about 8 minutes per body part (cm2 of skin), which will be about 8J of energy. This dosage and power density is modeled after the NovoThor $120,000 red light therapy bed! Hope that helps! :)
