Q: Will it hurt my car's paint?

This is a metal polish. I use it on the polished wheels on my truck. I have never tried it on a painted surface but Ii can't imagine it would do it any good. There are better choices for paint. Good Luck!

Q: What is the grit or micron & the material used?

There doesn’t seem to be a grit. It is more like a creamy liquid. If it does have abrasive compound it is very fine. I have been using metal cleaners and polishes for over 40 years. This is by far the best and easiest I ever used. With that said if your finish is In really bad shape, just like anything else it will take some elbow grease. You will not find any other product that will make shine more. Hope this helps.

Q: Can i use it on my cars car's paint?

I would not suggest using this product on your car's finish. I imagine itd be far too abrasive and actually damage your vehicle's paint. For light oxidation or hazing, even mild scratches -Id suggest Meguiars Ultimate Compound or equivalent.

Q: I stupidly left an aluminum dock ladder extended into the lake water for several days and it is black with tarnish. Will this safely clean it?

Absolutely. Start off with Dawn (blue) dishwashing liquid rubbed on dry. Then rub that in to get surface clean then rinse and dry thoroughly. Follow with this amazing product, working it in area with a cloth or very fine steel wool. Get a polishing wheel on your drill and finish up restoring and cleaning it. ( can use microfiber cloth just takes longer). You can just use the Zephyr without the first step for same result, but it uses more product and I personally like to conserve as much as I possibly can as this is my go to for all projects like thus.
