I've had many handheld mixers; this Hamilton Beach handheld beats them all. The main reason? The speeds start SLOW and then nicely, incrementally increase in speed to your liking. The beaters fit perfectly in their designated slots, the latch that ejects them is right where it should be and works great. This machine is not noisy.With other mixers (even high end expensive ones!), the slowest speed is so powerful that the bowl contents fly past the rim, onto the counter and splatter all over. No more!!! This mixer does a perfect job.

I've been baking all my life--breads, cookies, cakes, you name it. I've never found a mixer that powers through the job so effortlessly, smoothly, and quietly; no ingredients thrown from the bowl, regardless of mixer speed; attachments click in and out beautifully with a little "trigger" under the handle (convenient!); I feel the product was a good value for the money, and I'm enjoying it every time I use it.

This is a great mixer. It’s has enough power for everything I’ve needed so far. It has beaters and a whisk which is all I need. The rapid beater release trigger is easy to press. All in all, it feels natural in my hands and its functionality is perfect for most home baking needs.I love that it has a case for storage of beaters and the power cord. It makes for a self contained unit and I’m not dealing with a dangling cord or awkward storage or lost accessories or misc accessories in a different drawer. I can store it all together and ensure I always have everything.Now, my one quibble is how the unit attaches to the accessory tray. It’s an indentation that you kind of pop the unit into and the action is quite awkward, has to be redone a few times before it catches and requires a level of practice accomplish. When others help me bake, they can’t manage removing or storing the accessory tray easily and I have to help them. A slide track or a button press catch and release would be easier to manage. That being said, once you’re used to it, it’s not a huge deal and I’d rather have it than not.So 5 stars for a great, easily usable mixer with an impressive feature set for the price point, and one star loss for the fiddly accessory tray attachment mechanism. But again, I’d rather have the tray than not, but a different attachment mechanism would be preferred, even if it raised the cost a few dollars.

Great little hand held mixer for light mixing. Three paddles which is great for wiping. Five speeds so great for powdered ingredients. Case great for storage in cabinet having everything together ready to use. I ordered mint green fun color. Would buy again if needed.

I received this as a gift and absolutely love it! The acrylic storage bin is perfect as all the tools and cord fit nicely for compact storage. This hand mixer seems to have a magic touch in that it does not sling the contents of the bowl all over like some other models do. The red color is bright & cheery!

I purchased this hand mixer several months ago, and have used it quite a bit instead of my heavy KitchenAid mixer, which I have to store away and lift out each time I use it. This mixer does a great job with cake mixes and making creamy whipped fillings. I love the plastic clip on container that holds the beaters and the cord, and it does not take much space to store. I also like the low, start up speed. It does not flip your ingredients out of the bowl when you first start mixing. The high speed is sufficient also. The beaters eject with a simple flick of your finger under the handle.
