This is a far better then most legacy products of the same type. It's more comfortable and adjustable.Keep in mind this product is designed for emergency use not as something to be worn all the time . Also there's many videos online on how to properly use this please make sure you have the proper training before trying to put this on a injured person. It's durable enuf and small enuf when folded out flat to keep on my medical bag that I keep on hand.

It is, what it is...Ambu is a great brand and the collar is what expected to be.For me, this color is a plus.

Bought this for my wife's trauma kit (she's a nurse). It arrives FLAT, and it flexible, so storage in different bags seems pretty good. We have not removed it from the sealed plastic, but upon inspection: it is super light weight, so adding it to a kit would not add excessive bulk or weight, appears to be quality materials, the padding is thin, but this is not for comfort, but cervical immobilization, multiple adjustments, so it will fit all members of my family, if needed. This is a SHTF purchase, hence getting it in OD, but inexpensive enough to use and dispose of if needed before then.

These are NOT made to be comfortable, not at this price. Not that these philly-style collars are ever comfortable in my opinion. However, it does the job I need it to when the three-level fusion in my neck is pinching the hell out of the nerves there. It is big enough you can wear a standard soft collar and wear this over it. The foam cushioning is thin, not even as comfortable as the StifNeck brand one: I got both. Instructions are easy to understand and follow. And, at this price, I consider this to be a great purchase on my part

For anyone looking to buy this: if you're looking for a comfortable neck brace, this isn't it. This is an extrication collar meant for stabilizing someone's neck after a traumatic accident, not to wear around the house. It does it's job well and it's very easy to use. Minimal training is required and neck movement can be minimized while putting it on. I'd recommend for anyone with medical training looking to build a trauma kit or a field bag.
