Riedel Drink Specific Glassware Sour Cocktail Glass

Great size and the flat bottom is perfect for mixing an Old Fashioned. Feel great in the hand, and makes you want to make that second drink every time. Probably a bit too big for drinking whiskey, but perfect for mixed drinks.

Smaller than my usual cocktail glass but perfect when restrained. Some of my guests prefer the smaller cocktail (which I gather is a normal size).

Though I like the glasses I have only given four stars because I can't get used to the size of the base. The shape of the bowl is great, and just the right size for a double martini or any short cocktail. The glasses seem well made, but the base just does no seem right. It is about the same size as the rim of the bowl, but just looks too big to me. This is, of course, just my opinion, and others may think it is fine. They look great in the glasses cabinet, but when I take one out to use, I generally put it back and take out another Nick and Nora glass that I find more aesthetically pleasing. Shame really as the bowl is so lovely, but the glasses probably will not get as much use as I had expected.

Good weighted glasses that feel sturdy and not brittle. Perfect size for a double old fashioned with a large ice cube. Feel good in the hand and look great

Bear in mind these (the "neat cocktail glass") are NOT designed for, e.g., an Old Fashioned or similar with one big, honking ice cube! (these are about 7 cm diameter) Otherwise, ideal for a little nip of anything you fancy. Pretty to look at and a nice weight in the hand.

The glass on these is thick, you will feel very safe holding one. I loved the design so grabbed these to be my highball glass of choice. My only complaint is 2 inch ice cubes wont fit so i either have to try and pre chop the cubes down or use 1 inch cubes. Still worth it. If you want some very high quality glass ware for a non outrageous price pick these up.

The glasses are very good quality and pretty. Good value.

Has quality control at Reidel really gone down this far? Reidel used to be the best deal in glassware: a quality product for a good price. Now even the price isn’t good, the quality is fair, and the attention to detail and packaging is bad! The interior packaging was so damaged that one glass just slipped out as I was removing the inner box; fortunately, I have good reflexes and caught it before it smashed to the ground. This is not the Reidel of the 20th century. Look elsewhere if you want that level of quality, and definitely price! I hope the seller (parts plus and more) is telling the truth about selling returns, used product as new, but that doesn’t explain why the inside of the packaging was torn up, and the product was dirty with fingerprints and reattached labels.

Might be slightly smaller than anticipated but adds to the retro feel. Still holds a double martini absolutely fine.
