We recently finished our basement, which is heated/cooled, and purchased these to place around the area to help freshen the air and see what type of moisture is occurring. Pleasantly surprised with how nice they smell and that the grey decorative container blends in nicely with surroundings so they don't stand out with the bring blue label.

Excellent product to remove moisture from many areas with limited air circulation. In my case, I used them under beds (if it fits) because moisture tends to build under the mattress foundation for lack of air circulation. It keeps the underside dry and smelling fresh. This bucket is perfect for such locations where hanging a dehumidifier cannot go. As an added precaution, I place the container in a plastic shoe box (sans the cover) in case the container is knocked down. This avoids water from spilling onto the floor. For closets where one can hang the product, I recommend that you buy the one designed for hanging as they are much easier to use and disposed of.

I have used this product on and off for years now. It works perfectly wherever you need it to remove dampness along with the odor that can be in such places.

Too much moisture can lead to mold and a musty smell. Closets can tend to have this in older houses. I bought this for an add on closet that didn't have insulation. I am impressed at the pleasant smell and after two days I noticed the crystals had been absorbing moisture. If you just want it for a better smelling closet it would be good for that as well. The package is very simple. It comes sealed. There is an insert to keep dry crystals seperated from the disolved ones. You remove the package of absorbing crystals and pour them in in the cup with the seperater in place. Put the slotted lid back on and let it go to work.I purchased the Lavender scented. It is very pleasant.

Our laundry room is small and gets humid. This works well to pull moisture from the air.

Work but stops working early

It’s been just 24 hours since I placed the product in my room and have already noticed a significant difference in air. Well worth the money. I got the lavender scent and it’s perfect, leaves the air light with just a kiss of sweetness.
