Q: Can i use this as a daily brushing spray without causing build up or leaving residue in my dogs hair?

No, this is there dentangling spray which is more of a conditioner. I've always loved the Crowne Royale product called Magic Touch for us when doing daily or weekly burshouts. It smells wonderful, and could be purchased in a ready made spray, or a concentrated form, where you can make it lighter or heavier as needed. I've been a professional groomer for thirty years and have shown dogs for almksg ppppp

Q: Can this be used on puppies?

I wouldn't recommend using this on puppies younger than 8 weeks or so and not yet weaned, but otherwise, I see no problem with using it on older pups.
