Why did you choose this product over others?: This was a gift - I have a microplane myself and bought this for a good friend. It does a fabulous job on citrus fruit zesting, on chocolate, on parmesan. Will last you for years and performs so well. Brilliant grater - wanted one for ages. It grates hard cheese like a dream and have used it for ginger & garlic too and lime zest. Very sharp blade. Like the protective plastic cover too.

Microplanes are every bit as good as people say they are! This piece of kitchen kit solves the garlic problem in a moment- grating a bulb happens in seconds. Lemons are so easy to zest and there is no waste. I bought two- one for savoury and one for citrus and nutmeg.

Certainly very sharp, maybe a little narrow for my liking but the biggest issue is that the handle is hollow and not properly sealed so after being washed I've tipped it up to do some grating on a couple of occasions to be greeted by a cascade of water running out of the handle and down the blade.

I just wish I had bought one of these earlier. Will zest and grate anything, easy to hold and use. Very quick delivery and well packaged.

Use this all the time for fine grating of garlic, ginger, parmesan and much more. I wouldn’t be without it in my kitchen gadget collection.

Si la perfezione è un obiettivo difficile da raggiungere ma qui ci siamo quasi. Il marchio è una garanzia di qualità ed esperienza in questo ambito. E' già la seconda che acquisto non per problemi con la prima, ma per una casa al mare in cui era presente la triste grattugia a cubo.. Trovo comodo grattare il formaggio con questo modello e se ben impugnata, non si sbaglia un colpo. Questo significa che ogni corsa del formaggio sul metallo, produce l'ideale quantitativo di prodotto. La non perfezione è data, nel mio caso, dall'impugnatura che avrei gradito leggermente più abbondante ma questo ritengo essere un problema tutto mio riconducibile alle mie mani abbastanza grandi...

This is the restaurant standard. This is the best for small shredding, grating or zesting. Not the easiest to thoroughly clean, and do watch out to not cut your hands! TLDR: BUY IT!

I didn't realise how blunt my old zester was until it broke and I got one of these. Amazing! I understand why they are so popular they are so sharp and easy to use
