I'm only using a 2 gallon fish bowl, can i split this into 3rds and add more whenever i need too?

I only used a couple of teaspoons in a half gallon, or a little more in a large volume, and add aeration or carbon dioxide supply. Too much is worse than too little.

Hi Ted, great question. The ingredients are food grade, but how you grow any algae is where the safety needs to be. Any problems that could arise usually come from poorly maintained pH. Our standard answer for consuming anything grown from Algae is that we offer "no guarantee warranty or prediction of safety." That said, people have been growing our Algae for years now and I have not heard of any issues come up. Good luck!
