Super Easy Swap on Anycubic Mega-S
I purchased this because my original extruder was failing (after 3+ years!). This is the EXACT same set up, motor and all, that was installed on my Anycubic Mega-S from the factory. Everything comes pre-assembled, so installation is a breeze! This works right out of the box for the Anycubic Mega-S. Although the instructions say you should update your firmware, if you have the latest update already installed there's no need. My firmware shows 1.1.0, but try as I might I cannot get it to display 1.1.5 after an update, no big deal, it works fine! This comes packaged extremely well inside a heavy duty cardboard box with the motor/extruder held firmly in place and protected with shipping foam. For under $30 this is a bargain! My printer is now kicking out prints like it was new again. Don't be a cheapskate, buy a good Bowden tube to go with this (Capricorn tube), it can be purchased here on Amazon as well. Wishing you a good first layer and happy printing! :)

Fixed my extruding issues! Simple install
My printer was either not outputting any filament or just spurts. If I helped by pushing the filament a bit to help the extruder, it would feed. That told me I was probably having extruder issues. Super simple install on my Anycubic i3 Mega. Bolted right into the same spot the original one was in. Just unhook the wire connection from the old and plug it into the new one. Install done. I had already upgraded my firmware to the 1.4.6 (Marlin 1.1.9) using instructions on all3dp, so I was able to change the e-steps easily using Octoprint and a usb cable to my computer. I didn’t do the e-steps calibration, I just used the value 387 as suggested in the instructions and accuracy was spot on! Commands to calibrate and change the e-steps are on all3dp also.

Installed on my Anycubic Vyper. Works fine, but no instructions.
Installed on my Anycubic Vyper. Works fine, but the extruder came unassembled as loose parts with no instructions how to assemble. While I was able to figure it out, it was certainly a mildly frustrating puzzle. As a note for anyone else installing on Anycubic Vyper. I used the old motor, but replaced the gear with the one from the new motor. Took some trial and error to get the height of the gear on the shaft just right. Also the filament sensor will be in the wrong place. I needed to scoot it over and haven't decided on how I want to secure it, but for now I just have it hanging loose.

This woked on my Mega X
It wasn't hard to install after I learned everything from the ground up. Good luck. it isnt hard even if you are a noob like me. Advice: there is a spring. Do NOT let that go flying or you will add 30 minutes.

Exact Anycubic Mega S replacement. Great Titan clone.
Exact replacement for my Anycubic Mega S. Good build quality. Decent E3D Titan inspired clone. Comes with stock Anycubic mount as well as universal mount. Excellent value.

Bowden tube connection is wrong thread size
This extruded has consistently failed four prints in a row. When the filament is extruded the threading that connects the Bowden tube will eventually come undone because the two sets of threads are not the same size. Not sure how to fix this, maybe some Teflon tape, but I feel like this shouldn’t need to be fixed in the first place…

Works great!
Bought this for my Mega X and worked great right out of the box. I read some material saying that the e-steps might need to be adjusted in the firmware but I lost my calipers for the calibration procedure so decided to do a test print "as is" and it worked great, plug and play

Fits Anycubic I3 Mega, but will require firmware update
The item is described as working with the Anycubic I3 Mega (older printer) and it sort of does but overall requires much of the user.NOT PLUG AND PLAYIt mounts perfect, feeds much easier than stock extruder, but the stepper motor is not even close to being the same. If you're a printer expert and already know how to adjust your esteps, flash non-official firmware (still one really good option out there), and/or make slicer extrusion multiplier adjustments for hours and still not get a working print, then this is for you. If you want plug and play, look elsewhere.

Seems to work good enough. Much better than stock creality style
The media could not be loaded. Update: noticed a stiffer spot on the manual feed wheel. Nothing is wearing funny, and seems to power through it just fine, but the brass stepper gear isn't machined perfectly round. Not a huge deal I don't think, but just something I noticed.Stock creality extruder style wasn't able to keep up with the print speeds I wanted and constantly skipped steps or chewed out filament as I like to run fast retractions. I now run this on my delta that I converted to a Duet board, so other than reversing the extruder direction in the software and adjusting my e steps, with the 3:1 gear reduction and feed wheel it seems to be a great upgrade for me. :)Very happy with my purchase. Will update in time....

Extrusor eficaz

Works great
The cube on the left was printed with the original i3 mega extruder @ 0.3 layer height 0.5 width an 50mm/s with 0.4 nozzle, it has horizontal lines and looks under extruded on the top surface. The one on the right was printed @ 0.32 layer height 0.6 width and 80mm/s with the same nozzle and reel of plastic, with the original extruder i had to slow everything down to 50mm/s @ no more than 0.3 and 0.4 width it just didn't seem to be able to keep up, its probably worn to be honest as it printed 400 PPE masks and 3000 ear savers with a 0.6 nozzle 0.8 line width and 0.45 layer height, so was being worked very hard. This extruder in about half the weight took about 5 minutes to install and a firmware upgrade available from the Anycubic website, that was the print without any calibration. Very pleased so far and if I can now print TPU at a reasonable speed it will be a bonus.
