Really nice.
These are nice. I may have to push the hooks up because they're leaking just a bit, but they're so cute and I love the moat and the thing to keep the bees out.

Plastic not glass
This company makes this same feeder in clear glass and I thought that’s what I was ordering because I needed a second feeder since my hummingbirds are battling over the one I have. This one is actually colored red plastic. To be honest, this one drips a lot more than my glass one. Since I have it hanging over a ledge, it does not drip on my patio, it drips over the bushes down below, so it’s not a huge deal. I would get the glass one if you are hanging directly over a patio or deck. If you are hanging over bushes, grass or something then it would be fine. I’m on the 3rd story of an apartment building so I am not concerned about ants up here, and haven’t seen any. I have attracted a couple of regular bees that now hang out on the feeders so it has been fun trying to refill them without being stung! Lol

Good luck trying ti keep it from leaking. Got it stopped teflon tape
Birds like it yellow jacket proof. Down side after 3 or 4 days started leaking from feeding area. Tightened it once. Not enough. Today cranked it hard. Enough to think I was going to break it. Turned about 1 1/2 times more. Hook for hanging is terrible. Tiny hook bent ahead of time. Twice to keep it from coming out wile hanging it. Well just looked after second torking still leaking. 9 or 10 bucks wasted. To little to send back.7 days later. Wrapped the threds again about 10 more wraps silicone Teflon plumbers take. Appears to be holding 4 hours later. We will see. Hate to trash it4 days later finally with what I thought was to many wraps of Teflon tape seems to be holding now no not holding. Took the Teflon tape off. Used 1 inch duct tape. Nope. Used 1/4 wide close to top. Nope. Was going to make a cork gasket hole 2 inchs and 1/2 inch wide. Don't know wore out trying to stop leaking. Not a good dedign. One more possibility. A 2 inch inside Dia o ring sold on Amazon. Also used in swimming pool hose. 4.47 on Amazon for 10. Don't need 10. I like this feeder and birds do also. The o ring would go between the main body and bottom where it joins. Didn't work. 6-3-19 Now tried tin foil. Seems to stop the leaking. Tin foil reflects heat. If this works I will use contact cement to be cleaner looking. But just open it up and fill and put back on also long as it works. The red absorbs the sun causing the food to swell. If it was white wouldn't happen. 6-11-2019 threw it in trash. Could not stop the leaking. Enough wasted time

Great....but...
Nice feeder but our hummer visits dropped dramatically.1) appears they did not like the bee guards at all.I took the flower off, removed the yellow bee guards, flipped them open and cut the "guard screen" off at the plastic hinge.2) The large red flower easily collects rain and debris and yuck. Left'em off.Within an hour, back to normal!!This is a very good feeder. But much better with a little "retrograde"No complaints. I just wouldn't get another with the huge flower or the bee guards.Hummers deal bees in the wild. They have no bee guards on flowers so just think about that. Not dissing Perky Pet or their products in any shape form or fashion. I will be buying from Perky Pet again, just not this particular feeder and NO Bee Guards or huge flowers.Thank you Perky Pet

Easy to use.
Love this feeder, it replaces the same kind that I had . Like the smaller capacity and cleans and fills easy.

Bee Proof..but not really
I bought this feeder because my other 2 with big port openings were attracting bees. I was so disappointed when this feeder did too. While the cages around the ports make it so bees can't get to or into the port, the nectar pools up in the bottom of the flowers due to the port tube being so short and horizontal. The bees will just hang out in the flower to get the nectar. When you fill it and flip it, you need to do it over a sink because nectar shoots out as soon as you flip it. My other issue is that the bee guards are yellow...which is a color bees are attracted to. I was desperate to see if it would keep the bees away but it hasn't. I will still try use it in cooler weather but I have a feeling I'll still have a bee problem.Durability I'll give it 5/5. We live in AZ and it gets 105+ out here and this held up well in the few days it was that hot.Ease of cleaning I'll give it 4/5. There are a lot of pieces. The bee cages also open for some reason. I'll have to look into why, but I find it a downside as they can be hard to open and it does make it more to ensure they're cleaned and sanitized also. The spillage and the fact that bees can still get to the nectar makes me rate this the way I did. I think if the port was angled upward more, there probably wouldn't be an issue. I will try to see what I can do to extend the feeding tube, but I feel that is a design flaw that should be fixed. Even if the wind blows and the feeder starts swinging, nectar spills out, or if anything bigger than a hummingbird lands on it, the nectar just spills out from slightly tipping to any side.Probably wouldn't buy again unless they extend the tubes. I would say purchase this if you don't mind those things. It's really not a bad feeder, just messier than others.

Very pleased
Attractive and sturdy. Hummingbirds love the color. Easy to fill and then hang in your favorite spot. If hook is too small, use a zip tie! Very Happy!
