well made and dont break like the plasic one

I expected a more substantial product. The metal is fairly lite weight and cannot hold thick hair. They appear much larger in the presentation than they actually are and were therefore a slight disappointment.

I'm probably late to the game of discovering these could be purchased made out of metal after finally getting fed up with regular plastic clips constantly having teeth break off or breaking altogether in my purse, backpack or luggage.These are just the right size for my thick, shoulder-blade length hair. I was worried they would be too heavy and pull on my hair, but they don't pull and are not too heavy no matter where on my head, whether nape or up top, I place this. If you have thinner hair however, they may pull some as they are a bit heavier than the plastic clips.The spring seems to be made and attached very solid and sturdy too.I bought the set of 3 different metals and thought I would distribute them (one at home, one at work, one in my purse), but I like them so much that I might just buy another set to have more than one color metal in all 3 places.

These are everything I could’ve hoped for in a claw clip and more, at a really great price.I never considered using claw clips because I’d only ever seen plastic or tortoiseshell ones and always felt they either looked kind of old or cheap, but I’ve often had sensory issues with the way elastic hair ties and ponytails tug. I ended up re-encountering some plastic claw clips when my hair was at a length that was too short to braid or put in a bun, but long enough that it got in the way, and claw clips were the perfect way to avoid ponytails.I found this set and they’ve been incredible. They’re way more durable and attractive than plastic ones, very secure (even after almost a year of frequent use), super comfortable, and surprisingly lightweight considering they’re metal. I’ve received tons of compliments on how unique and distinctive they look from art student peers, and the variety pack makes it super convenient to coordinate (if aesthetics are a priority), or to throw the extras into bags or desks to have them in a convenient location.Two of them that see the most frequent use have started accumulating a very slight tarnishing over time, but between my frequent use, the fact that I often use them with wet hair, and their price, it’s hardly an issue (and I don’t think it’s noticeable to anyone but me as I’m handling them)

These clips are so small that I almost returned them when I opened the package. It's taken me weeks to figure out the best way to wear them* and I have to redo it multiple times per day when I wear them my preferred way.** I really wish these were bigger. But they're cute and durable.*Like a high pony, but instead of putting in a hair tie, twist the hair and clip it at the top of the head. Photographed.**Low pony/tail. It just doesn't hold the hair well with gravity against it.
