Whats the resistance level or lbs on this?

There is no specific lb. gradient, just numbers 1 to 5. I found that it didn't offer enough resistance at the top end the previous forearm machine topped out at a higher level, therefore, I retunred the Marcy Wedge as being not suitable for my purposes.

Does it make sense to buy 2 so both arms can be exercised simultaneously ? Thanks, Allan

I don't think so, because if you exercise one arm for a number of minutes you can switch off and do the other one allowing the first arm to rest. My son (age 17) does not think it has a strong enough resistance. Hope this helps.

will this help with forearm splints?

The splints you get from doing heavy preacher curl, will not be helped by this. I never did find anything that actually helped with forearm splints.
