Simple - Nice Display
Simple display of temperature and humidity inside/outside works great. Decent range from outside through multiple walls/windows. Display is exact size as in listing but on smaller side once you have it in your hand. Magnet on back of display sticks well to fridge door. Display illuminates for a few seconds when pushing the “light” icon.

Works out in the elements, and has a 9 month battery life on a rechargable battery!
I hung my transmitter on a garden stake outside, near my full-sun uncovered patio. It's about 100ft from my receiver that is inside my kitchen. There is a small hole/hanger at the top of the outdoor transmitter, that I push a zip tie through to hang it from. Because I hang it from the top of it, rain hits it from the top and sides, but the air vents at the bottom stay dry. I also do not "mount" it to anything, and literally just let it hang out in the open, so it dries out quickly on all sides, and there is no moisture trapped between it and a mounting surface or wall. I bought this 9 months ago, and am just now "recharging" the transmitter for the first time. I realized the transmitter battery needed to be recharged when the receiver in my kitchen was reading the indoor temp/humidity, but only had dots for the outdoor temp/humidity. 9 month battery life = pretty impressive. The hardest part about it was remembering where I put the charging cord for safe keeping. In line with other reviews, there is some discrepancy in the accuracy of the reading - but not enough to make a difference for me. I use this to know whether or not it's okay to leave my temperature-sensitive dog outside for the day while I'm at work. I just factor in the possibility of a 5-10 degree F temperature difference. In fall/winter, if its lower than 60 degrees (or maybe 50 degrees if it's not reading accurately), I do not leave her outside while I'm at work. In the summer, if its already 85 degrees, and it's only 7 am (which means it might be 90+ or over 100 that day), I do not leave her outside. But if its reading between 60-85 degrees outside when I leave for work, the dog gets to stay outside and enjoy it. It's not perfect, but it takes some of the guesswork/worry out of it for me.

Great Product
Overall, I'm very pleased with this hygrometer-thermometer. It's easy to set up and use. I bought it one year ago from Amazon, and my wife and I love the convenience of being able to check outdoor and indoor weather conditions at various times during the day and evening. I attached the outdoor sensor to the vertical frame of the front door, and we keep the indoor sensor on the kitchen counter. The low-voltage battery indicators for the separate sensors and the arrows indicating long-term trends in temperature and humidity (both outdoor and indoor) are particularly welcomed features. I've had to recharge the outdoor sensor battery and replace the indoor sensor batteries only once in the year since owning the product. As some other reviewers have indicated, a shortcoming seems to be a bit of inaccuracy in the temperature readings, especially the outdoor readings. Some of the "inaccuracy" in our case may be due to the influence of the wooden door frame to which the outdoor sensor is attached, as the temperature of the wood is likely to change slower than that of the outside air. Basically, this product has not been a disappointment, as we use it mainly as an indicator of what and how much clothing to wear when going outdoors on a given day, a decision that isn’t affected by a few degrees difference in temperature. I highly recommend it to anyone who can tolerate a couple of degrees of inaccuracy.

Good quality
Work well and the transmission is good ad we'll. I manly use it to monitor temperature outside in during the winter for my big dogs. When it gets to cold i bring them in. Recommend this product

Great low cost device, well designed and easy to use
Very reasonable price. I bought this to have a monitor for outside temp from inside after wife accidentally broke the thermometer hanger on the porch. I was impressed enough with the performance of the first unit, I bought two more of the sensor units. The display alternates the 'Out' reading on the top of the display between three possible units. If you just have one, it stays on that reading, but if you have two, the display will cycle between all three, leaving the third sensor (if not there) reading blank lines. I found it annoying enough to buy a third one to fill that spot in the display cycle with a separate garage reading. These devices are each about a degree apart in the same location and the humidity reading as much as 4% different in same location, but they are close enough for my use purposes. The display is very easy to read from several feet away with bad eyes, the screen has a light button at the bottom that is very useful at night, and I am over a week on the first charge of the outdoor sensor.

A waste of time and money
I used this inside my incubator for hatching eggs. My results were 20-5% hatch rate. I didn't recharge the battery between hatches because it seemed fine. But it was reading 1.7 degrees higher than the actual temperature when sitting side by side of the remote while recharging. After throwing out 150 eggs, my last hatch failed completely, I went from 5 chicks hatched down to 3, next hatch 1 chick, fourth hatch zero survivors. I knew there's a learning curve but shouldn't I be getting better instead of worse? I gave up on it for accuracy for temperature, realizing that as the charge wore down so did the accuracy. I also bought a second unit before I realized this was to blame for my bad hatching. After I stopped using it, just incubating trusting the temperature on incubator, my hatch rates improved to 18 chicks and 15 chicks. It has been several months, much too late to return to Amazon. I did receive a refund for the second unit that was supposed to hook up to channel 2 on this device. I spent several hours trying to get the channel changed from 1 to 2 so I could have a second incubator monitored, but I ended up returning it since it wasn't able to connect. I had read good reviews before I bought it, perhaps I just got a dud. I have been trying to use it just for the hydrometer portion, but even harder to test accuracy.

Product was over all good and reliable. But if you need my opinion, I just say one word "Overpriced"

Pros: -Good price especially when bought on sale -Easy to set up -Includes start up batteries -Enables me to monitor the difference between indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity levels so I would know when to ventilate my home -Doesn’t require changing batteries often -Seems reasonably accurate compared to my other devices (some are from the same brand manufacturer, others are not) Cons: -Inability to monitor temperature remotely

Buen producto. El display es grande y el backlight es naranja, cosa que me gustó mucho. Los dos sensores son muy sensibles y con solo tocarlos tienen variación de temperatura, el sensor remoto está a 30 metros con algunos muros intermedios y llega bien la señal.
