I am using solid wood desk my father built for me as my computer desk. The only issue is, it was built for writing, not a computer. It being such a nice piece, there was no way I wanted to drill a hole in it, so I used the adhesive that came with this product. I admittedly have very light-weight Sony headphones, but it has been over a month and this thing hasn't budged.I love that the hook portion is padded to not damage my headphones and is plenty big. I could probably put two different pair on there. I also love that when I move this desk, I can just close the hook and it won't be in the way, catching on things.The metal is heavy and the satin finish looks very nice. It is a good, understated functional addition to my beloved desk.I wish it didn't have the logo, but other than that it is perfect.

Very sturdy, easy to mount and has padding

After several days of on line research I selected this hanger. When it arrived I was exceedingly pleased with the clean design, high quality manufacturing of this product and the finish matched those qualities as well. I only rated Adhesiveness as 4 stars as only time will judge that and I will change accordingly. I did not want to drill holes for screws into my desk so choose to go adhesive. I put the adhesive double sided tape on the back side of the hanger and then using a cloth to prevent possible scratching I placed a block of wood on the front side of the opened hanger and used a "C" clamp tightened down sufficient to make sure it had pressure on the adhesive tape. I let that stand for 24 hours on my workbench.Next I removed the clamp and removed the protective covering over the adhesive on the other side of the double sided adhesive tape, carefully placed it where I wanted it on the side leg of my desk below the top holding it in place with pressure. Then I again used a pad and my C Clamp and the block of wood to ensure an even firm pressure over the entire area of the adhesive tape and let that stand for 48 hours before removing the clamp, wood block and padding. It appears to be firmly attached.I've included 4 photos of the clamp; 1 taken away from the desk to see it holding headset. 2. showing the hanger closed in a close up. 3. showing hanger open in a close up. 4. and finally a close up of the hanging holding my headset.It is my hope that by following the recommended minimum let hanger set for 48 hours after affixing it to where you want it to be and my adding 24 hours to just affixing the tape to the hanger and distributing pressure over the entire area of the adhesive tape with the block of wood and C Clamp and repeating that for the 24 hours after I affixed the hanger to my desk will resolve reported adhesive issues.At this time I would strongly recommend, without any reservations other than time proving the adhesive is strong enough, this hanger to anyone looking for one to attach to a wall, desk, or other surface. The fold up feature is really a bonus that I will use. I purchased the 2 pack and after seeing the product am glad I did.

This is a quality item, and it works very well. It is also very nice looking, so it won't look out of place mounted to a nice cabinet or wall. My only ding, is for the lack of information or instruction on the 3M adhesive strips, which are included in the kit. It's not clear from the very limited instructions, what the purpose or intended use of these are, and why there are two of them. Are you supposed to use both, one on the item itself, and the other on the mounting surface? No instructions on this so I went with intuition.I peeled the backing off of each and stuck one to the bracket under the mounting screw holes, and the other to the marked surface of the shelf I was mounting the hanger on. The gelled compound of the 3M strips create a nice cushion between the hanger and the mounting surface, and are wide enough when pressed together to fill in the gap between the hanger and the surface. They also provide a bit of suspension relief to the bottom of the bracket, so it won't cut into the mounting surface if too much weight is put on the hanger.Overall, a very nice product, but I have to remove a star for the unclear instructions. The instructions should be clarified to indicate the correct installation, and the intention of use of the two 3M adhesive strips, as this will not necessarily be obvious to all users.

I'll still give this five stars, seems sturdy and perfect for the side of my home office/studio desk. The only negative is that the screws that are provided aren't very good. Even after drilling a pilot hole for the screws, the head broke off as I was tightening, thus leaving a portion of the screw forever in the leg of my desk. Had some similar wood screws from another project that I bought at Lowe's. Was able to hammer down and now its hidden by the hanger itself.

These little things are great. Hold my headsets just fine. Like that they fold up. Fairly heavy duty for what they are. Will be ordering a few more.

I have it stuck on the side of a bookshelf with the adhesive that came with it. It has stayed up just fine with my headphones hanging on it. It looks nice and folds up well when not in use. In a studio I would mount it with the included screws for more durability. I like that it is metal and has a metal hinge. I think it will last a long time.

APPHOME Headphone hanger is exactly what I needed. Product came with 2 adhesive pads and 1 mounting screw. I think it was to contain 1 adhesive pad and 2 mounting screws. It was not a big deal, however, I had to find a matching screw to replace the missing one. Now that the headphone hanger is installed, I'm not constantly having to move my headphones out of the way. It's very helpful. Would recommend this sturdy product.
