Owls i-Clip Magnetic Page Markers (Set of 8 Magnetic Bookmarks)

Great little gifts for a Harry Potter card exchange! Great value for the amount! Everyone loved them!

Pros: Many bookmarks for a cheap price ($0.25 per bookmark at time of purchase). If you lose a few, it's not a big deal because you have more. They are magnetic and can stick to a fridge. They are compact. They don't stick out and can't be easily damaged like traditional rectangular bookmarks. I like the cute owl design and the different colors. Cons: They can be annoying to use because you don't simply insert the bookmark where you want to leave off. You have to take a few more pages after that and have the bookmark close on those pages. Conclusion: I am happy with these bookmarks, and it's nice to be able to give a book with one of these to a friend without having to worry about losing a bookmark. If you frequently open and close your books, you may prefer a traditional bookmark since it's easier to throw one of those in your book and close it quickly.

Really great little bookmarks! I'll start by saying that, yes, these are as adorable as they look in their picture. I really got these because I wanted something low profile that wouldn't fall out of my school books. However, after using them, the fact that they are small and magnetic are a huge plus. I also use a dry erase board to help myself keep organized during the school year and while I'm usually only using 3-4 of these at a time for book reasons. I end up using the other 4-5 to act as pointers on my board. It's a really nice surprise! Overall, there are Pros and Cons. Pro: - Cute, come on, they're owls! - Small, they'll stay out of your way. - Magnetic, so they can easily serve dual functions for a fridge or dry erase board. Cons: - Might be a little flimsy over the long term, but the verdict is still out on them. - Very nit picky here, but I would have liked to see some kind of groove to make opening them easier. In conclusion, buy them!

I guess you could say I'm pretty focused on all things OWL, so when I saw these bookmarks, I HAD to get them. Yes, they're pretty small, so it's up to you if you want to pay the price for them, but they are THE cutest bookmarks I've ever had the pleasure to use. I'm currently reading George R.R. Martin's "A Dance with Dragons," and anyone who knows what book I'm referring to knows that the book is over 1,000 pages. Because of this, I was a little worried the bookmark might not stay in place or might look odd since they're so small and the book is so huge, but they serve their purpose perfectly and look adorable while doing it. Also, since I almost always just have one bookmark but read several different books at one time, having 8 of these babies makes life so much easier. I should say that I spent hours on etsy.com looking for a magnetic bookmark but could not find one anywhere near as cute as these or any less expensive.

These look and function as described. I bought the Owl i-Clips for myself & the Panda i-Clips for a friend. I only have the Owl i-Clips in front of me right now for comparison, and the picture of the product represents the colors accurately. The magnets are strong enough to hold 1-5 pages in the book I tested it on ( though, this will vary with paper type & thickness), staying in place even when I flip through the book. However, the magnets aren't overly strong, and sliding them off quickly won't rip the page. I've used them successfully on both coated pages ( shiny, like a textbook) and uncoated pages ( soft texture, like a novel). I've have several on a book that I keep in my gym bag, and the clips have miraculously stayed put despite the abuse the book itself gets. I would definitely purchase again for the book-lovers in my life.

This was a gift for my wife for her birthday, for which she was gifted new books. These little things are genius. I'm quite jealous I don't have a set of my own. They clip neatly to the edge of the page, no harm done. One side has the owl design, and the other side has an arrow for leaving off in those mid-chapter areas. It reaches pretty cleanly to the words on the page in every book we own. They are just as likely to rip or tear anything as your fingers or self are while reading, so these things are like pro-readers' bookmarks. I catch pages on shirts, blankets, tables, placeholders, etc., so if I were to pull one of these off hastily I may do the same but that's user error and not to to blame on the page marker whatsoever. They have some weight to them while clinging to the page, so you definitely have to pay attention if you're really careful with your books like we are. This is an excellent product I'd recommend to all readers. Looking forward to finding a set of my own with different designs. They still have magnetic charge 5+ years later, as this review is kind of late :)

I love these book marks! I have purchased several styles for myself and I have frequently given them as gifts. They are slim and will not damage the pages of the book as some thicker book marks or sticky notes can do. They can clip to any part of the page so that you can mark the exact line at which you left off in your reading. They also come in lots of different designs so they make nice gifts because you can find a design for many different personalities and tastes.

Gift for mom. They are so cute and work as expected. I wanted to buy others, was hoping for some holiday themed ones, couldn't find any.. Hint, hint..

Siempre me había molestado que cuando metes un libro en el bolso (o se te cae), el marcapáginas termina en cualquier lugar menos donde tiene que acabar y pierdes la página por donde iba. El tamaño me parece perfecto, ni muy grandes por lo que puedes incluso tenerlos puestos en la página que estás leyendo sin que molesten y con que cojas tres o cuatro páginas no pesan tanto como para doblarlas, pero lo suficientemente grandes para agarrar varias páginas. Este problema se ha acabado con estos marcapáginas, puedes sacudir el libro, tirarlo, hacer con él lo que quieras que el marcapáginas va a seguir exactamente donde lo dejaste. Una maravilla. Yo compré un juego de ellos y entre que vas regalando a la gente (porque siempre hay algún amigo que cuando te lo ve dice: "¡Qué buen invento!" y que lo que compré en un principio sólo para marcar libros de lectura, al final lo he terminado usando para marcar páginas de libros de texto, para poner notas en la nevera... al final, he tenido que comprar más porque no me llegaban. Además hay un montón de diseños para elegir y son el complemento ideal para cuando regalas un libro a alguien, el problema es que la persona a la que se los regales se puede llegar a fijar más en los marcapáginas que en el libro!
