Briogeo Farewell Frizz Blow Dry Perfection & Heat Protectant Crème, Anti Frizz Hair Cream with Argan Oil for Styling, Silicone-free, Heat Protectant, Smooths Hair, Vegan, Cruelty-Free

I just used this Briogeo Farewell Frizz blow dry cream for the first time and am really pleased with the results! The product is an almost liquidy cream that smells good, natural and a little citrus. After drying there is still a slight scent in my hair. I tried it because my heat protectant has silicone in and it just weighs my hair down too much, feels greasy after a day and a half and I'm lazy enough that I don't like washing it more than 2-3 times a week. I have 2c/3a hair that is pretty densely packed on my scalp but the strands are getting finer as I get older. It is low-medium porosity and I recently got an awful haircut so I haven't been able to wear it natural because it's just too short, so I've had to blowdry or straighten it after every wash. In these pictures, I washed with Function of Beauty shampoo and conditioner for wavy hair that each have one shot of the deep conditioner in them. Then I gently squeezed the excess water out of my hair with a microfiber towel, ran a quarter sized amount of this cream through, starting at the mid lengths and ends and just using the little product I had left on my hands for the roots. I brushed through with a Sephora collection boar's hair brush and then blow dried my hair in sections with my Hot Tools hot air brush. Then I brushed through once more and these are the results. No frizz or flyaways, my hair feels nice and soft, smooth and not fluffy, and it feels like it won't be weighed down after a day. Provided it keeps impressing me, I'll definitely order again!

This stuff smells so good and keeps my hair from getting all dry feeling when I’m blow drying doesn’t feel sticky at all or greasy. Keeps my hair feeling really nice and soft.

This is my every day cream before I blow dry. Love it. It was on sale during prime but when I received the order the tubes were smaller than what I usually order so I don’t know how much I really saved. Lesson learned. Check weight before ordering.

UPDATE 2025: I kept this product on my shelf after writing my original review. I eventually ended up buying and really liking the Briogeo shampoo and conditioner. Lately I have been having issues again with blow drying my hair and pulled this back out for another try. Lo and behold, I am really happy with it this time around. Updating my review to 5 stars. I'm giving it 4 stars because the product is working pretty good, though other products (now discontinued) did a better overall job. And the 5th star because the ingredients list is so great. Original review: This was quite pricey but because the ingredient list is so great & the reviews were so good I decided to give it try. I was thrilled the first time I used it! It wasn't too tough to comb through my hair when wet & gave it lots of body. I don't care for the scent but it's not horrible & others may like it. Unfortunately, that one time must have been a fluke. Each time I have used this again it has make my hair so "tacky" that it's tough to get a brush through. The worst thing is that it also doesn't comb out - it remains just as tacky until I wash my hair again. I so wanted to love this product but I cannot continue to use it. I end up ripping so much of my hair out when trying to comb through, lots of breakage. It seems to work great for others but, sadly, not for me.

I definitely recommend it! I really like this hair crème. I use it when I am going to blow dry my hair (straight); and also when I leave it damp, so it remains wavy (my natural texture). I find that it works very well for both styles (if I’m blow drying my hair I use just a little, less than a dime-size, and apply it from the crown to the ends; to air-dry and keep it wavy, I use more and scrunch the hair repeatedly). It’s actually very light and not at all gluey, which is a big factor with many hair gels (remember, this is a cream). As such, I can wash my hair every other day, just wetting it on the “off day” and reapplying some crème. Works great :-). Really like that it doesn’t create a lot of gluey build-up. The only thing I DON’T really like is the scent. It’s just okay. Hard to describe it but it’s not what I would call “lovely” or even “nice”.

I received a small tube of this product from QVC in a gift box I ordered that had different sample products for you to try at Christmas, 2022. And I absolutely loved it! Worked great on my fine, thin hair & the smell was WONDERFUL! So I ordered a bigger tube on Amazon a week ago. Used it for the 1st time but the scent is Nothing Like the scent was in the sample tube I got from QVC! Have they changed the scent perhaps? I don’t understand why the scent isn’t the same. Actually that’s why I used it so much was because it had such a nice, clean scent (in the 1st tube I got)

Prevented frizzing while raining, although my hair was somewhat flat after use. I guess you can't have everything.
