Sound Appeal Bluetooth Outdoor Rock Speakers - (Grey Slate)- Stereo Pair

2 years and they stopped working. Reached out to distributor company AV-Express. Company was responsive in recommending first that it may need a power supply replacement and promptly sent out a new cord. This resolved the issue, but then a year later, the power source stopped working again and the company cannot be reached for a new power supply. Their website seems to not be functioning. Don't know if this is an AV-Express issue, or a manufacture issue with Sound Appeal. Hopefully one of these companies gets back to me soon, but otherwise skeptical of this product.

Final Thoughts. Still have connectivity issues daily. You can't get more than 10 feet from the main speaker. Sad. I am very disappointed in the 2nd set of these and equally disappointing is the sellers response. Guess I'll be looking for a replacement soon.Addendum 2: I purchased a new set if these same speakers. I can only get 10 to 15 feet away or the bluetooth cuts out. The seller's response was to unplug them for an hour and try again. Obviously did not work. I would not have purchased these with this range. Can't sit at our table 20 feet from the speaker. We have to either leave a phone close to the speaker or leave the tablet near them so we can't change music on the fly. I realize it's not a crisis, but the manufacturers decided to skimp on the bluetooth quality and it's a shame. Would not purchase again.Addendum. Year one I put them away for winter. Year 2 I left them out. No problems listening on a nice winter day. Now May 2 and the bluetooth won't stay connected. I unplugged, cleaned and rewired all the connectors. Plays a few seconds and cuts off. I guess I should be glad I got a little over a year of usage. Trying to decide if I should try again or get another brand.I waited until I put them away and got them back out to make a final decision and now I can write an honest review. Super easy hookup and just the right amount of wire to place speakers at an optimal distance. They sound great right out of the box. I was using my phone last fall but all my calls and texts interrupted the music. I purchased a Fire 10HD tablet and stand. Sounded worse than the phone, but added an equalizer app and what a difference. These now sound amazing and rock harder than before. I can now use Alexa and not have to play DJ. My guests can choose music by voice or tablet screen and the speakers sound superb. I can honestly say these are very quality speakers at a reasonable price. Highly recommend for even the most picky audiofile. I have Bose, Polk, and Klipsch in the house but these are equally as impressive.

These are definitely hefty speakers. Bump into one of these during the night, and your toes will know.I used a set of these on my covered back patio, so I have no experience with their water resistance.Sound quality is good for outdoor speakers. The Bluetooth interface made setup a breeze. It's convenient to sit outside and pick music to play from my phone. There's an annoying "bloop" when the speaker pairs with a source.One speaker is the master, plugged into AC. The other is connected via a long included speaker cable. This inter-speaker connection is the reason this isn't a 5-star product. In my application, I sometimes have 1 speaker outside, sometimes both. Connecting and disconnecting them is a pain. There are a couple screws to attach a cover over the connection on each speaker. There are two more screws on each to attach the wires. I would like this process to be simpler.

We have been fairly happy with these speakers in our yard for the past two years. They are constantly exposed to high heat, humidity, salt air (live on the east coast), rain, and maybe a dog's "abuse." They have always sounded GREAT when they connected. The bluetooth receiver is apparently in the bottom of the primary rock. We have had to basically set a phone next to it (10 feet or so) to have uninterrupted sound. When about 30 feet away, you would hear static or interruptions when a person or the dog walked in between. This was very frustrating; I might as well placed an outdoor stereo out there since I had to walk through the yard to place a phone next to the speaker....and then walk back out there to adjust sound and music selections. But, we made do. No big deal, worth the quality sound.So now the Secondary speaker will not work. I will contact the company and see what they say. Will update the review if this gets fixed. It sounds like from other reviews, the company has corrected this issue for others.

Awesome! These were a breeze to set up and install. They are very durable, so I don't think the wind is going to be blowing these over. They put out a really nice sound, even 20-30 feet away from the speakers. I've only had them installed a day, so longevity may be an issue, but so far I'm very happy.UPDATE: it is just over 4 months after purchase, and the speakers have stopped working. It's cold out, so it's possible that they don't work in cold weather, but my understanding was that these were all weather outdoor speakers, intended to be left out in cold temperatures. The speaker turned on, and my phone showed the Bluetooth device (and connected successfully) but no sound came out of the speakers. The power light was on, and the wiring was all connected (I checked.).I'm kind of hoping there's a quick fix, or I am going to be seeking a refund or replacement. I noticed a few other 1 star reviews that have generated offers for a replacement. Since I do love the look and sound quality of these speakers, I'm hoping the seller will offer that. I will be contacting the seller offline, and will update my review if I receive a pair that doesn't break so quickly.UPDATE #2 - Within hours of contacting the seller (AV-Express) they had contacted me to troubleshoot the issue. We determined that a replacement was in order, and they shipped one free of charge immediately. I sent the old ones back in the same box, with a pre-paid label. The new ones arrived and work just fine - hopefully they will continue to function in the coming months / years. I'll update if anything changes. My review has been changed to a 5-star review.
