ABA for SLPs: Interprofessional Collaboration for Autism Support Teams

Kudos to the authors for recognizing and taking on the challenge of improving understanding, communication, and collaboration across the disciplines of ABA and speech. As the sole behavior analyst on a treatment team made up primarily of speech pathologists and technicians (whose treatment decisions are reviewed by the speech pathologists), I find this book helpful in explaining where my colleagues might be "coming from." If your work requires collaboration on any level, this is a must-have.

This book is a fabulous guide for understanding ABA written specifically for SLPs. As collaboration between Behavior Analysts and SLPs becomes a critical part of management for children with autism, this book is a must-read guide for successful partnerships.
