In Washington state we play outside year round, never mind that it's 40 degrees and raining. Base layers are SUPER important.My 13 year old loves these. They're fleecy on the inside but smooth on the outside so they don't get as dirty as they would if they were fleece on both sides. They breathe well enough for while he's on the field and keep him warm on the sidelines. We have 2 pairs!

These are so soft and really provided that extra layer of warmth for the early baseball season tournaments!!

Thin and soft material. I was concerned it would be too thin for my son and our skiing trip. It was perfect! He was comfortable and they layered nicely under his clothes.

I first bought a pair to act as a layer to go under clothes on way to Spain as was still winter here in Midwest. Then wore as pajamas when there. I have 3 pairs now and are a great lightweight pair when fall hits and when in hot climates but people like to blast the AC in their house (or hotel). They are thin and easily get holes, so be careful and buy when on sale.
