This is much better than hoped for since the card I'd heavy duty and not that thinner type you get on the plain flat cat scratching posts. And because it's mounted on a stiff back and at a ramp angle it's more attractive to the cat.I bought it hoping he would use it for both a scratch post and as a ramp/ step to reach the sofa and my hope was satisfied.He uses it several times a day and it is very stable in use.

We used as a step for our 18 year old cat to get on the sofa! She climbed up straight away! Lovely! Really lightweight

Our cat loved it and destroyed it. It’s made of cardboard so is lightweight and probably not suitable for larger cats. But it’s good value for money.

I brought this as I have adopted an ex feral cat and I wanted to try him on a scratcher. As soon as I sprinkled some catnip on it, he was away. Now he goes nuts on it and has figured out if he stands on the top and scratches down, it doesn't wobble.It is withstanding his onslaught nicely and I will keep buying this brand when it needs replacing. It's my first experience with a cardboard scratcher and I'm really happy with it and so is Coco Pops!

Good idea and made of cardboard, but cat didn't use it.

My newly adopted cat loves this.The different ways it can be positioned is extra good.I'm going to have to buy another one though as my cat loves it so much she was sitting on it when she decided to puke all over it lol.

When my wife and son both begged for us to rescue a cat from the Cats Protection League my first thoughts were both poop and the leather sofa - especially as a previous cat had great delight is shredding the side of our old leather sofa. So I bought this thinking what have I got to lose and you know what, it might only be a lump of compressed cardboard but it is worth every penny. We bought it just before our rescued cat arrived and from day one she clambered onto this scratcher and scratched for England leaving our sofa, curtains and furniture alone. Sure, over the months a few tiny claw marks have appeared in the sofa where she has jumped on and off and we have had to replace the scratcher but she has never attempted to scratch the furniture. As far as the cat is concerned this scratcher is what you scratch on. For that reason I can't recommend it enough.

Probably only item my cat uses the most!She absolutely loves it. Great for their nails.It’s a thick cardboard type material but lasts a very long time!Cat may lick it (mine did anyway) which can wear it down a bit but happy cat = happy owner! Great product. Cheap and cheerful!
