I'm very happy with the quality and feel of the knife. The open assist works really well and I like the darker finish. I also think it's a nice touch that you can return it at any point for sharpening. I'll probably never do it, but it's still a thoughtful touch.

One of my favorite Kershaw knives. Barely notice it in your pocket. High quality. Nice blade.

excellent as always, decent knife for the money. kudos to you kershaw.I got pulled over and nearly arrested for having one of these a few years ago in california,the cop wasn't hearing it in regards to it being "assisted opening" and wouldnt consider it anything besides a "switchblade""but officer, these are legal in CA, they are called spring assist / assisted opening.. I BOUGHT IT AT FRYS ELECTRONICS DOWN THE STREET! THEY SELL THEM AT WALMART FOR GOD SAKE!"Nope, so I was nearly arrested, in fact he did arrest me but didnt jail me,just booked, fingerprinted, and released from the police station. (I think the cop found that even if it was a switchblade, that offense was no longer an arrest-able offense, but refused to admit his mistake)Getting to my point, I contacted kershaw customer support and within a few hours they got me in direct contact with their on-site, dedicated attorney, who sent me all kinds of xxxx vs state of xxxx, xxx vs xxx, blah blah, a bunch of legal jargon etc etc.The DA took 1 look at the documents and that charge was dropped so fast...Quite a bit of incredibly ridiculous circumstances, and unlucky ones at that, but it did certainly suck.Going to pick up my knife from the police station wasn't so bad though.Anyway, ya I bought another one recently. Thanks again kershaw. you guys are awesome. F% the police though.

Got this for Mother’s Day from my son, this is a replacement. I understand there’s wear and tear, but the plastic part that locks it breaks pretty easy. I carry mine closed in my pocket everyday. It came open because plastic piece was broken. I could have cut myself bad, but I didn’t. Thankfully. It’s an awesome knife - I love how it opens quickly. That was the reason I’m bought another. If it weren’t for the plastic piece breaking this would be the perfect knife for a woman, or man.

I really like this knife. Came to Me nice and sharp as well. It is about the perfect size. If you want a large knife that will impress your super rad buddies, this isn’t it. If you want a knife that works for probably 99% of your EDC needs, this is it. Small enough to be out of the way. Large enough to feel that it’s there, just barley. Perfect for me.

It’s a great knife but not the same color as the one in the picture. I just contacted customer service to let them know.

This pocket knife is well built, has an awesome finish, is comfortable to use and super sharp out of the box.However, I like my pocket knife to function one-handed and this design isn't great for that.The safety lock is at the bottom while the lever is at the hinge. So, the lock is useless for me because I want/need one-handed operation (the knife has partially opened in my pocket while carrying unlocked).Also, The pocket clip should be reversible or on the other end because it positions the knife "upside down" from how you would want to open it one-handed.Ergonomic fail: If you had safety on in pocket and were trying to use one-handed, you would pinch hinge end to draw, maneuver to bottom to unlock, maneuver back to hinge to open and then have to reverse to put away...Unfortunately for me this knife doesnt get carried much and will probably collect dust more than anything. I will definitely consider more Kershaw USA made products tho as they are top-notch build quality.

Wanted one of these for a while and am very happy with it. One good thing I've noticed about it is the actual convenience of the safety lock to stop it from opening on it's own. I wanted a knife to keep on my belt and it unlocks as I take it off my belt. So I shouldn't have to worry about it opening on it's own, but know that it's ready when I need it.
