They work great and look nice.
I'm posting a picture of my bent dr650 brake lever. This is what happened when I laid my dr650 over. People are saying that the hand guards broke/bent when they crashed? I feel like a 1 or 2 star review because the product broke when you crashed is a little unfair. These are strong for the price point. I've bent handle bars crashing, I've been brake levers crashing, I've bent wheels, and other components. If you lay your bike over or hit an immovable object, a lot of things can bend/break. The hand guards work and look nice for the price point. If I slam 250-400LBS into the 1/4" piece of metal surrounding the handguard it WILL bend. I'd rather the hand guard bend then my hand. These work great for blocking stones, branches, dirt and wind while I'm riding. Keep in mind, if I accidentally crash, they will not be able to support my 380lbs 2014 dr650. They are not intended to hold my bike up. The guards fit great on my aftermarket fat bars and they serve their purpose well. ✌🏻

Seem high quality
These seem pretty sturdy and like they’ll do the job. Install on a Honda CRF125 took about an hour. There were no instructions, but I watched a five minute YouTube video about generic handguard installation and was able to figure it out easily. As others said, install all the hardware semi loose before tightening anything so you can make adjustments. Even if they break in a fall, which I doubt, they’re cheaper than OEM Honda levers and brackets.

*For the price* they are excellent.
I read the other reviews before purchasing, and after getting and installing them, I will say they do fit. The hardware they come with is cheap, but does work. And the people that were having trouble with their throttle binding after they installed it did not cut away enough of the plastic siding on their throttle so it wouldn’t catch the side bar. My son is learning to ride as well as myself, and he has had two falls. One on concrete and one on gravel and both times the side bar hit the ground first which probably saved my brake lever. So they have already paid for themselves. I agree with the others that they might not take an extremely hard fall but $30 is pretty cheap insurance if you’re just looking for something. Or if you just want to keep the wind or cold off your hands these would work perfectly. I plan on going to the hardware store eventually and getting some better anchors for inside the handlebars as well as nuts and bolts to hold the brackets in place. Other than that I can’t complain for what you pay. Otherwise you’re looking at spending $150 for a nice set.

non-useable product as described
absolutely poorest quality imaginable. Threading both on parts and on accompanying screws were misalligned, irregularly cut and did not fit appropriate insertion points. Screws broke with minimal torque applied when attempting to mount onto bars and bar ends making for a tiresome and tedious disassembly and non-useable product. Have received no response from seller via Amazon from prior notification of useless product. Pooh on them

Poor Support
I ended up having to order two hand guard kits to get one set on my Honda NX 500. It took several weeks for the first kit to arrive. Two parts required to mount the guards needed to be threaded and only one was threaded. I contacted the vendor and after several emails and sending pictures I gave up and ordered a second set to get the guards installed. They did fit with minimal bending and will work for my goal that was to keep wind and rain off of my hands and controls. I did send a final email to the vendor asking where the replacement parts were and they seemed irritated that I had to wait a second month for the replacement part. I ended up keeping both kits for back up parts, the aluminum guards and plastic covers are usable but most of the hardware is very low quality and did not fit the NX 500. I did get a workable solution but at twice the advertised price due to having to buy 2 kits. Good luck if you purchase from this vendor.

JFG hand guards/ bark busters.
I installed these hand guards/ bark busters on my sons apollo x18 RFZ. easy to install no instructions but fairly simple. I installed the wedge caps first then the inner bar clamps loosely next the adapter that attaches them together. then adjust and tighten everything. The kit comes with different size plastic shims to accommodate different handlebar configurations. Look great, sturdy. Good price point. Will protect my son's hands priceless!

Solid quality on these hand guards. They took on a tree or two already and didn’t shift. The handle bar brackets on these made installation easy I’ve had other styles in the past that just didn’t works as well.

I love these guards, we have them pm 2 of our 3 bikes. We bought a white and a blue set and I couldn't be happier with them. The only issue I've seen consistently is the hardware they come with stripping out really easily, so the bolts never fully tighten and therefore they wiggle a little bit. I even managed to snap the head off one of the bolts with a hand held Allen wrench accidentally.

Was able to make them work on my TW200. The hardware that comes with is pretty lousy. Had to chase some of the threads with tap.
