Not what I expected
I work in a rough industry where generally you need very tough boots like red wings or thorogoods. I’ve used a ton over the years and usually after 3-6 months the boots are destroyed or riddled with holes from glycol or oil and other chemicals.I’m a commercial/industrial HVAC installer and can say that these are by far the most comfortable boots I’ve worn which made me nervous at first. I’ve always been taught good boots should be uncomfortable for a while until they’re broken in. These almost have no break in period at all. Only break in I had was the heel on the left boot rubbed a little bit for about a week and ever since then they’re perfect. Also was worried about ripping the pull tabs off but as of now there is no tearing, leather looks good but I need to clean and condition them soon. Soles still have so much tread on them. The soles on these boots are like an almost transparent material seem very durable so far. They have also not stretched out like other boots I’ve had that are “slip on”. They’re nice and snug around the ankle.****one thing to note, these are the model with the toe cap protector as I constantly have to kneel down or crawl around under equipment so it’s necessity for me.I’ll be buying another pear of these boots and possibly the mock toe model as well to see how they hold up.

Three and a Half Years Later - Still going strong.
These boots are great. I’ve worn them for work almost consistently five days a week for over three years - not even a single popped seam. The only thing I’ve had to do is replace the insoles maybe two years in.They take minimal time to break in. These boots are extremely comfortable. I sometimes find myself wearing them on non-work days because they actually feel good to wear.I’ve recommended them to numerous trades workers on job sites.I have wide feet so they’re pretty perfect. I normally wear size 14 for the extra width. This is one of the few times I think I probably could have gone down a size and still been okay. That said, I like having a little extra room incase I want to wear thicker socks. Personal preference here.Anyways, honestly these boots have been one of those grail finds in terms of price and quality. Like I said, I wear them almost every day and they’ve held up great; I’m guessing I’ll get a few more years out of them still as they have no signs of giving out. If you only need a pair of steel toe boots for the odd job here and there, you’ll probably be able to use these boots for a lifetime.

Stylish, comfortable boots that fit and perform well.
I work in a manufacturing environment but I'm in the lab/office most of the day. Therefore, I need steel toe shoes that perform on the plant floor but also look good during meetings (and I just prefer slip on shoes when I can find them).I came across these boots and was initially put off that they only came in "extra wide" sizes. My feet are medium width, so this worried me. However after digging a little deeper, I found out that the "extra wide" portion applies to the toe box and ankle areas, but not the whole boot. I usually buy size 10-11 shoes, but since my end-of-day feet are about 27.5 cm, this lined up to the size 9's according to the manufacturer's size chart.I purchased the 9's, anxious that they wouldn't fit well and be too small. However, after wearing them for 12 hours a day, 2 days straight, I can tell you that they feel and fit very well in the toe area. They are definitely sized true to the manufacturer's listing, so I would follow that for sizing instead of your normal shoes.I wore them outside while it was raining this morning and water beaded up and rolled off for the most part; they dried fully an hour or so later with no staining. I did not slip at all with the wet soles on linoleum, and I've worn them in the lab around chemicals this morning with no issues. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because like others have mentioned, the ankle area is fairly loose. Since my boots fit me exactly, they stay on my feet with zero slippage, but it would have been nice to have some more ankle support to go along with the mid-top look. I do have slimmer legs though since I'm a swimmer, so those who are burlier will probably find the ankle room to be just right.Overall, these are amazing shoes and exactly what I was looking for!

Best boots on the market!
Let me start by saying that I am currently on my 4th pair of boots with the Rockrooster company. My most recent pair (check out the photos XD ) lasted since 2021. These boots survived through multiple roofing companies in all weather conditions, roof conditions, etc. As you can see from the photos, it was finally time to change out the boots and of course I will continue going back to purchasing Rockrooster boots. Their customer support / service is top tier ( I’ve never had an issue reaching them via email ) and their boots are proven to last. I will continue to always recommend this company to co workers of mine because I believe in the product they have made. Perfectly crafted boots that are extremely comfortable to walk in for many hours a day doing any sort of tasks. There is no arguing the value you get purchasing these boots for the price it’s listed at!
