Absolutely love these turkish towels! Packs well, saved tons of space over traditional beach towels. Sand just falls right off, even if it's damp. I like that you can use it as a wrap/cover-up too. Absorbs more than you'd think for how lightweight and thin it is. They are soft and get softer with every wash. Great quality and nice colors.

I purchased this for the first time years ago because I use Turkish towels in the bath and I know how thin yet absorbent they are, and I wanted something that wouldn't take up my whole beach bag. This is my now my second one because the first is so beloved and fought over in my house. Not to mention everyone compliments me on it/asks about it when we're out. I've tried other brands, but WetCat really has it all. the texture is nice and soft and warm when you want to wrap it around you on a cool summer night after swimming all day, it dries you off easily, it dries quickly between uses, just hang it on a fence or on the back of a chair between swims, and it takes up almost no space. My ONE complaint is that other manufacturers include wet/dry bags and I'd love to see one included with these, but I solved that by just buying a $10 bag here on amazon. You will not be disappointed with this towel.

I do very much enjoy these towels. I ordered a pair 18 months ago and then bought another single recently and can say they have maintained EXACTLY the same color. No fading over time. Cannot see the difference between the three. I use them primarily as everyday bath towels. Quite large but thin, they take up much less space in your linen closet or beach bag than the fluffy towels. The only reason I took off a star is that they ship with what seems to be some sort of starch in them. While that makes for a crisp, ironed look on arrival, it also hinders absorbency dramatically. It takes several washes to get that all out of the fibers. Even once that is all gone and the towels are at their softest and most absorbent, these will dry your skin but will leave it the perfect amount of gently damp to then seal in with body lotion/moisturizer. (FYI moisturizer primary locks in the moisture on your skin. Doesn’t do as much on arid skin).Due to the tassels I chose to wash and machine dry these in an oversized delicates bag, but have never had any challenges with them fraying or tangling dramatically. Don’t let the use of the bag mislead you; they are washed on the “towel” setting along with all the washcloths, tea towels etc. Casual, comfortable. Great variety of colors available.

Wet Cat towels are great. I have tried a couple of other slightly cheaper brands which were fine but when I compare them to the Wet Cat towels they are not as soft.These make brilliant pool or beach towels. Although they are huge, they roll up to about the size of a t-shirt making them perfect for when traveling, picnicking etc. They also make a great throw on chilly nights when sitting outside.I love how absorbent they are and how quickly they dry. That's a bonus especially when humidity is high and thicker towels stay damp for hours. I have bought these as gifts numerous times plus have a selection for home use. They have been washed multiple times and still look like new. I just chuck them in the wash them with t-shirts, socks etc. and they tumble dry really quickly too. Excellent product.

I am using this beach towel to spread on carpet for stretching exercises to be more comfortable, and I greatly appreciate its large size. The cloth is very thin--more like a tablecloth--so I don't know how well it works on an actual beach, but on carpet it is just what I wanted. As noted by others, it is lightweight and so easy to fold up and put away.

I was skeptical, but now I love them and want every color. I ordered 5 different colors; Fuchsia, Dark Coral, Denim Blue, Teal and Dark Grey. All were beautiful.They absorb water just as well as a traditional towel, they are soft, sand resistant and dry fairly fast. I used them to shower with first and they dried me off well. Then I took them to the beach.They dried my skin and stopped the drip on my swimsuit. When dry the sand falls right off, when wet I had to shake it hard several times for 98% of the sand to come off. They dried rather quickly when in the sun. They did not prevent my seats from getting damp when leaving the beach, so I'll probably keep a traditional beach towel in the car for when we leave. But over all these were great. So much more room in my beach bag, not heavy or bulky and look nice. And the best part, no more sandy towels in my car and laundry.
