The chocolates were were old and stale and near their expiration date. When I opened the foil wrapped chocolate every piece had "bloom" on it indicating poor storage or handling and EVERY piece I tried was dried out and hard. I have had these chocolates before. I know what they are supposed to taste like and it's not this. I should have checked the reviews. It appears many others have experienced the same thing. DO NOT BUY!

I have bought Mozart chocolates for 6-7 years — mostly from World Market, several times from Amazon, and once or twice directly from the manufacturer in Austria or Germany. I love Mozart, and am delighted to share his music and Mozart chocolates with people. I have tried half dozen brands. Pro: —You get a lot of Mozart kugeln in this tiny box. —I think people who are less familiar with Mozart chocolates might be impressed. Con: — Very sweet, but not much taste. Nothing much stands out. I think the texture is a little grainy. —The tiny box feels cheap. It’s thin and floppy, and feels more like paper than cardboard. Bottom line: I think this is fine to get if you’re buying it late and you can’t find a well known brand. If you want a better brand, I suggest going to World Market at Ir just after Halloween. They’ll have a nice selection of Reber and maybe Mirabella. Mirabella is wonderful. Reber is great in a could

We were first introduced to these chocolates in Salzberg, Austria about 12 years ago. We normally would get them from World Market around the holidays, but I was pleasantly surprised to find them on Amazon. Very traditional style of German chocolate candy, high quality. A little sweeter than some may like, but they are always a pleasant reminder of our vacation in Europe.

A lovely expensive treat for Christmas. Authentic; just like I remember as a child in Germany.

Schmecken leider nicht so gut wie die von Hofbauer, habe nur eine Kugel probiert, es war enttäuschend, gegenüber der bereits erwähnten kugeln. Von Hofbauer habe ich bereits schon 12 x bestellt. Ich werde diese verschenken 😢
