Pony Jorgensen 9180 Adjustable 45-Degree Angle Clamp

I have had a different brand of this clamp for years and have used it a lot, what really attracted me the most on this one is that it comes with the clamps that allow me to fix it to the work table and free both my hands to deal with the wood, usually different thickness, an achieve a square connection.This clamp is invaluable, with its ability to adjust to different thickness of material is what makes it unique, my favorite thing to build is shelves, and this clamp is perfect!A word of caution, though, mine fell from the table where I had it after I had removed the clamps and the hanging "hook" broke, don't know if I can get a replacement or not, however, that did not warrant lowering my rating.

Not going to be perfectly square with these, but will hold the work, when working alone. I looked at a bunch of these, and they are almost identical. I chose these because they came with the clamps, which was very helpful, again when working alone. I purchased four of these for drawers and cabinet making. Built a garage cabinet system using these! Great product and wort the money. Anyone reviewing these in the negative have too much expectation. It will not make it perfectly square, and most of that has to do with your original cuts, and nothing ever comes out perfectly square. It's the walls and floors that will be the biggest challenges, not the cabinets. Drawers do turn out very square with pocket holes and glue.

Purchased two of these, really fits the bill for clamping Greene & Greene style carcasses, as I've always had trouble with proud finger joints.Smooth operation, even comes with a top piece to hang them.My only (albeit) small is the weight. I also make jewelry boxes and the box's small size and light weight sometimes poses a problem. If the clamps were slightly lighter it would make that type of clamping easier. Now if Jorgenson could just lighten the clamping heads without sacrificing strength or precision fit...

build quality is good, its just a bad design. as soon as its even remotely tight, the screw being below the joint pulls the top apart. i should have returned them, but i assumed i was just using it wrong. I guess the would work for very rough joints.

Easy to use, these clamp are sturdy and flexible.
