Great quality! Recommended for big hands.
While the stock rubber grips may absorb a little more shock than wood grips, they just don't feel right in my big ol' mitts. These wood grips felt very comfortable in my hands and personally I like the look and feel of classic wood. I put a coat of lacquer on mine. I don't think it would be a good fit for small to medium hands though, the rounded back end is a bit pronounced and sits in the heel of my palm pretty firm.
