I was surprised to see the negative reviews. I used this scale at a cooking class and knew I had to have one at home. Mine has no issue with the Tare button, and I find it to be accurate. I've used it almost daily since Christmas and have had no problems.

Easy to use, easy to see. After a month of daily use, It still works just fine. That is a whole lot better than the three other scales i have tried over the years. I don’t have a set of test weights to check its accuracy with, but it does have very good repeatability.

Ordered this in December. It’s been on a shelf where I use it- it’s always been a little wobbly but greatly accurate. Until the last few weeks. The numbers are all over the place. For example it will jump down -9g then jump to 28g without being touched. I loved the product- until this started. Nothing was dropped on it- I’ve attempted to reset it and clean it but no luck...

It works with no downside so far. Accurate and easy to use. Could wish for a bit more water resistance in something used for food but generally very satisfied at this time.

I love the color (purple), its thin footprint, and choice of measurements. I was having trouble with mine and contacted customer service. I answered a few questions and they offered to send me a new one. Couldn't have been easier. Couldn't be happier.

Get yourself a nice OXO scale. This one is unreliable, dark, glitchy and impossible to see the display with a plate on top. Maybe there is a good use case for this out there but I haven’t found it. I hate it so much I had to come back a year later and help others avoid it.

I left 1 next to a stove burner and it melted the plastic on 1/2 the back of the scale rendering it useless. The second I left it on top of a toaster oven and it melted as well. I guess they were both my fault but I like to buy things for life and this was not the quality I was searching for. After the second melted I went with YONCON Baking Scale on amazon for a little more but it felt worth it since I use a scale nearly every day to track macros. Compared to Escali the accuracy on the scale and build quality is worth the money if you got it.
