They get brake fade pretty bad when descend 10% gradients
I have run these pads for 2k miles on carbon wheels, and I keep coming back. They have enough power to throw me over the bars (never have though haha,) and decent modulation. They get brake fade pretty bad when descend 10% gradients, but I gave them 5 stars for the amazing price. They don't last that long, but I haven't tried other pads so I have no reference.

Long lasting, good stopping power
I ride ~100+ miles per week. I change out brake pads yearly as part of maintenance. These have been my trustworthy go to for years (4th set). They still have life, but I am meticulous about my expensive rims. Which still look as good as new. :)

Work great with my carbon rims
Some squeaking when you first install these, but that goes away after a few rides. Work great with my carbon rims, have lasted me several hundred miles of daily riding in all weather conditions with no problem, and appear to have plenty of life left in them.

Worked perfectly for a fraction of the price
Had to replace worn-out pads just before an Ironman race last week. Original pads would cost about 3-4 times. They worked perfectly in the race, no difference at all to the originally installed. Can recommend!

Disintegrated during descent when wet
Had these brake pads on my older model pinarello that mostly was a trainer bike. Had maybe 200 miles on it over the past year. Took it out with a group of friends on a rainy day in Shenandoah national park. On a 500 foot, 3 mile descent the pads completely disintegrated in the rain leaving me unable to brake. Luckily was able to maintain control of the bike until the next climb and use gravity to stop myself. Do not buy these pads. I could have been seriously injured because of them

No more squealing
Purchased these brakes before, but when I needed some, I only had another pair to change out, but they squealed something awful. These brakes have no squealing on my carbon rims.

Low price, Low performance
Previous to this set of pads, the only ones I had used on my chinese carbon rims were the cheap ones that came with the rims. Those squealed, didn't stop that well, left blue marks on the brake track and got used up quickly. I bought these VeloChampion pads based on the good reviews, but I don't think they are a significant improvement over the ones that came with the rims. At least they are dark brown so they don't leave blue marks on the brake track. These do squeal when stopping, but maybe not quite as bad as the originals. I can usually modulate the pressure to stop the squeal unless I need to do a hard, downhill stop. The stopping distance still isn't comparable to my aluminum rims. Finally, these are about worn down after half a season, so they don't last all that long. Still, at least they aren't expensive.Pros: Price, not blueCons: Still squeal, Don't stop all that well, Not very long life compared to standard pads on aluminum rims. Conclusions: I am going to try other brands to see if there is something better out there.

Great carbon pads
I moved just recently to carbon wheels and I find these pads great. I can't really see any difference in braking power compared to aluminum wheels, which is great. I've been using these pads for 4 months now (done about 2000km) and I think that they are probably just about 15%-20% gone. Seem like a very good value for the price. If I have to moan about something is only the color that I'm not a fan of :)
