Went without a microwave for a couple of weeks, and I was trying to a new one but I learned of this issue. Found this product and my microwave is back up and running.

Took a few min to cut to shape. My Microwave is working again now. Its been a couple of months now and still working great. Brought my 16 yr old $400 microwave works like new again.This saved me a bunch $$$

My microwave started sparking, plate looked super discolored. After some googling, I realized I could replace the plate. These were easy to cut to size & my microwave is working perfectly again!

Perfect fit! This photo is after a month or more of use.It started off with everything sparking that I put in my microwave. I hated the thought of having to replace the whole microwave so researched the issue and then replaced the original one with this product and my microwave works again. No need to replace the whole thing.

Our home warranty company wanted $100 just to send someone to tell us what was wrong when our microwave started sparking. A new microwave like the one we have could cost $500+.Under $10 and it's all taken care of.

It is important to have the measurements of the old wave guide pretty precise before you order the replacements . We have a Paderno microwave that was only a few years old. We really like the quality of this microwave. While warming up some frozen fruit one morning got a lightning flash coming from inside the microwave warming area, buzzing/humming noise for a couple of seconds like something was shorting out, and when I opened the door there was a slight smokey smell. Did a bit of research and decided to try replacing the wave guide. It was looking a little discoloured. We bought these from Amazon. Perfect fit. We have been using the microwave now for over a week since we installed the new wave guide and there has been no problems. Hopefully that was all it was. Just a new wave guide needed. The new wave guide from Amazon was easy to install (matter of seconds) and all is good so far. Very pleased we did not have to go out and spend another $200+ on a reasonably good quality microwave to replace this one. Nice change in todays world to find an affordable fix to ease your day along a little bit. I would certainly recommend trying this solution if you run into a similar type of encounter while using your microwave.
