Great job protecting hardwood floors.
I used this to cover and protect my existing hardwood floors and hardwood stairs (two different brands of engineered hardwoods with factory finishs) while having carpet installed in other rooms. Worked very well. I tested it for several days on scraps prior to putting it on the actual floor to ensure it would not harm the finish. Left it down four days pulling it up easily without any damage to the floor it covered. Once down the material has air pockets that pop less loudly than, but similar to, packing bubbles. It is not a silent surface, but does its job very well. You install it by reverse-rolling the tube. The sticky surface is on the outside of the roll rather than the inside like a typical roll of tape. I found it easiest to get the laydown started, then get down on my knees on the started portion and push the roll forward in front of me.

Works great on aluminum.
We use this to protect the finish on various metals during transport and even when forming. It generally works great. It is a little lower adhesion than other products we've used, and it's still tough to get off sometimes. But it sticks good enough to most aluminum sheet, and that's what we needed it for.It does stick to itself and is a bugger when that happens, but as you get the hang of it, when you're careful, it's not a big problem.

Great product! We used it during a move to wrap the mattresses to prevent dirt and damage. It was great! Only reason for the 4 is because it kept sticking to itself while struggling with it. But, I guess it would not have worked as well otherwise. Good product! I can see many uses in the future.

Sticks great to tile
This will NOT work on carpet. It did not bleed, but I had to put clear carpet plastic on both sides to keep it attached to the floor. Sticks great to tile. Still did the job I needed it to do.

I used the film to avoid scratching and to keep surface clean on our hardwood floor. It did provide a reasonable protection and keep my floor clean while contractor worked. It will need two people to apply the film correctly. It does not work on concrete floor.

Product works perfectly on laminate hardwood flooring. I have had it installed for one week, and it has held up for the most part to foot traffic from a remodeling crew in the house. I would buy again. TIP: save the packaging and the wrapper that the roll comes in. It helps keel product ready for the next use. I will update the review once I can evaluate the removal experience.

DO NOT USE ON REAL HARDWOOD FLOORS
I bought this to protect the hardwood floors in my dining room while the wall were demoed and re-sheet rocked. The good reviews for protecting hardwood floors are why I bought this. My floors are not newly refinished, they were stained and polyurethane around 10yrs ago so the finish was fully cured. When I pulled the plastic off the floors spots/patches of the finish pulled off with it. Its almost ironic that the thing I used to protect my floors destroyed them. From now on I will stick to red rosin paper.

DID NOT LIKE THIS PRODUCT. It was a pain!
This film was a pain to work with!. It stuck to it self and you couldn't get it apart and then it didn't stick around the edges of our floor too well. We bought it to protect our tile during a repaint/remodel job. After working with it for a bit, we decided to just scrape the tiles with a razor blade if paint got on it because this product was a nightmare to work with.
