Relatively Easy to Install for a Novice
Needed to replace doorknobs without locking mechanism because of caring for elderly parent. This is the first time I replaced a double door knob. It was pretty easy, if a little time-consuming to do. Removing the old ones was the hardest part. Finish was for for our needs. Being Kwikset brand, I hope it will hold up and wear well - time will tell.

One key for all knobs and dead bolts plus easy to install.
I bought this door knob, and a couple others and a dead bolt, so that I could key them all to the same key. Changing them all to the same key was very easy. I watched a video on youtube just to be sure. It was really easy. This new system is really nice. I like having one key that opens all my doors. To make installation easier, you put the screws in part way and then put the knob on and turn it a little so that it locks in. Then you finish tightening the screw. Makes it a lot easier to install. No trying to find the hole for the screw when you can't see it. If you want several door knobs and dead bolts to be keyed to one key, this is the kind to get. They also install easily.

Some click when turning the handle, and had to mortise the latch plate deeper
The Kwikset doorknobs are very attractive, have a smooth operation, and are an excellent value. They are also easy to install: most door knobs require you to completely unscrew the knob connecting bolts, attach the knobs, and screw the bolts all the way in again, but the Kwikset allow you to install one knob with the bolts already in place, twist the other knob onto the bolts, and just screw the bolts a few turns to secure the knob. However, I did have two problems. The first was a manufacturing tolerance issue on about a third of the doorknobs I bought that resulted in an audible "click" when you turn the knob all the way. The outer metal shell of the doorknob is crimped onto the inner metal frame by four depressions, but on some of the knobs, the crimping still allowed movement of the outer shell relative to the inner frame, resulting in an audible click (some of which were surprisingly loud). I was able to fix this (at least for now) by sliding the rosette (the decorative flange part) off the frame and applying some superglue in the four spots where the doorknob shell meets the frame. The other issue I had was that the latch faceplate (not the strike) has a second plate behind it, making it much thicker than my previous latch plate. While this might provide a little additional strength, it also required me to chisel the mortise deeper so the faceplate would lay flat against the edge of the door. Even with those aggravations, I would still purchase the Kwikset Juno doorknobs again, as they still felt more substantial than competitive doorknobs, and were a good value. For the money, a great upgrade over regular locks
In helping someone deal with rental properties, and trying to manage expenses, one that was standing out was the cost of rekeying the locks of a triplex when tenants moved out. Since the tenants were typically students, that's 10 locks every year on one building and 8 on another. Multiply your locksmith's rate for rekeying and it's not trivial. A friend of mine told me about these locks and as I read about how they worked, I also learned about 'lock bumping' and how virtually all pin and tumbler locks can be rendered ineffective. If you look for any articles or videos on that topic you'll see what this is. We were forced to make a choice on these locks or a locksmith when a real estate agent's lock box (with a thin shackle) was cut from an apartment door. We needed to change the locks before the keys were taken and used to access the apartments. The cost of an 'emergency' visit from a local locksmith was high enough that I decided to try these locks. Even with the markup for the in-stock ones on the store shelves as opposed to mail order, this turned out to be a great decision. The installation was not complicated at all, so the owner replaced the existing locks instead of paying a locksmith or contractor. Once installed, changing the lock to another key can be done in seconds per lock. We were prepared to pay a premium for a solution, but fortunately these locks are not expensive at all. They're only a few dollars more than a simple pin and tumbler lock, but offering greater security and convenience. My opinion is that for the price we paid compared to a cheap pin and tumbler lock, these are a great value, and for the flexibility they offer, I see no reason to install a pin and tumbler lock when these are available at their low price point. I'm sure that with enough thought, a number of techniques can be thought of to try to circumvent the security of the lock using it's change mechanism, but any such technique would be more complicated than bumping is on the regular lock. This doesn't seem to be an ideal landlord/tenant system though. Master keying doesn't really work here (as far as I can tell). However, Kwikset does have a solution for that, but only in deadbolts with an option called Smart Master. If that was available for knobs and handles as well, it would be worth paying for, IMHO. We are considering removing the knob locks and going with a Smart Master setup. There are other options for higher security locks and for quick rekeying, but the ones I've seen so far are notably more expensive. This is a very good value. I've also read that the finish can wear quickly on these (polished brass in my case) but Kwikset seems to have a more durable finish (look for 'lifetime' in the color description), but that's a minor consideration in my case.

Very happy with my selection
Easy to install, with a perfect fit and finish that ended up an exact replacement needing no adjustments (could pass as the one that was originally installed). This quality knob feels strong and durable like something that will really last. I just could not be more pleased with my purchase.

Easy to install, nice look. The ability to re-key yourself is great.

Estas cerraduras son de lo mejorcito, y si no fuera porque son muy caras, les pondría cinco estrellas. La posibilidad de utilizar una misma llave para varias diferentes es muy práctico si se tiene una casa -como la mía- con varias puertas exteriores.

Took some time for this to get delivered, I replaced my Yale handle with this one, smooth operation, easy to install and has a great finish. I'm thinking of replacing maybe two other handles with this one.

The re-key is really useful. It is easy to install and re-key. I use the knob for my main entry door. I have another Weiser knob and deadbolt (with re-key) on my garage door. The keys are compatible after re-key. Now I can just bring one key for both entrance.
