Walnut Hollow Unfinished Wood Serving Tray for Weddings, Home Decor and Craft Projects, 8" x 15"

This is a great product! It sits on my coffee table and easily holds 3 remote controls. The fact that the wood comes unfinished makes it easy to create a unique, custom tray. I looked all over the internet to find a specific tray design, but didn't turn up any results, and ordering this tray made it easy to get exactly what I wanted. The price certainly can't be beat either! Don't listen to the reviews saying that it's too small. The dimensions are listed in the product information, but just to recap, they are as follows: 2" x 12" x 10". Like I said, it easily holds 3 remote controls, and I am definitely going to order another one to use as a serving tray.

I do not understand the negative reviews. No offense to anyone on their own experience. In my opinion though, this product is fantastic. It's real solid wood. I use it to hold my meter tall hookah that weighs about 20 pounds. just in case a coal drops, or ash, this sturdy wood tray keeps it from ruining my hardwood floors. And trust me ---it's happened. Whatever you have to carry or do, this tray is great. It is rustic, the handles are a nice touch, but at the end of the day it's just a really high quality tray that looks good and does its job

It's got a decent heft and feel to it, though the handles are a tad small to grab easily. The entire thing, and the handles especially, required a quick sanding (I used 600 grit) to make smooth. There were even some jagged splinters around the handle. Once I gave it the once over, it works fine for our purposes (holding some toys on my infant's toy shelf, Montessori-style). I would perhaps not load it up with heavy objects.

My friend just bought a house and was looking for trays to place on her sectional sofa/ottoman. She and I had both been searching for something that fit her primitive decor but have been unsuccessful for some time. I decided (being a craft addict) to make her trays. These were perfect for the task! I do not think that they are sturdy enough to carry anything heavy repeatedly but they are sturdy pieces that will withstand the daily use while sitting on a sofa. I used craft paints to cover and then stencil the tray. It turned out perfect and she loved them. They do need to be sanded down but they are absolutely perfect as the base of a project. I highly recommend these!

I love this tray because of the quality of product. I teach mosaic art and I needed a good strong tray for one of my students. This tray definitely met the requirements. I will definitely buy again.

You would think I orderd this off Wish.I give them 5 stars only because it is what they describe. It is so small dont let the picture of the plate sitting on It mislead you into thinking that its of average serving size ..that plate must be a Smurfs plate .But my fault I didn't pay attention to the details .it will make a good project. Mine needs sanded and a little wood putty to fill the staples before I can stain it . It will look good on a end table to hold a book or magazine maybe some car keys and wallet..I suggest using your tape measurer to get a true feeling of the dimensions. ..lol

Not very sturdy but makes for a easy weekend craft to tie a coffee table or end table together. I have re-ordered this twice now for different rooms. Takes paint and stain nicely. The price point is a little high for the quality but Amazon ships to the islands...so what can you do!

First, I'm a little confused why this serving tray is being reviewed as a toy...? BUT that might explain why other reviewers couldn't fit a standard size dish in it! Second, it's a great tray for crafting! It feels cheap and the wood feels soft (I would NOT recommend this tray for any real, load-bearing purpose), but I bought it for an organizational display, and it's ultra-stainable and very beautiful once stained and sealed. The wood is a little bland and light, but the wood grain really pops once you get a coat of stain on it. It has enough texture to grip and hold onto paint as well, if that's what you're interested in. When it arrived, it had splinters and bits of wood still hanging onto the handle holes, but those came right off when I ran a knife lightly over it. No trouble there. It really did turn out beautifully, yet I had to rate it 3 stars as a warning that it is cheaply constructed.

Lovely unfinished wood tray. I will paint it to match the room. It’s exactly what I wanted.

The quality is way better than I expected considering the price I paid. It’s relatively heavy & doesn’t give a cheap look. Although it’s unfinished but I do adore this clean color & versatile enough to paint any color on. Definitely will order more in the future

I had open shelves under the coffee bar that needed improvement in function for storage of coffee mugs. Walnut hollow unfinished wood serving trays were the right size for the opening. They are stapled together and rough pieces of pine. Splinters and rough surfaces. After a lot of sanding, clear coating and the addition of tack paper , they became functional and look pretty good. They are priced low and appropriately for what you get. Additional cost include putty for covering the staples, clear coat and tack paper.

Perfect size serving tray for the top of my ottoman. LIke the natural wood finish on it and it would be easy enough to stain at a later date. Only unfortunate it's poorly put together and it came with a damazed corner. The wood is split/cracked. Not sure that can be fixed or covered up.

Exactly what I was looking for. Just need to stain it and will be all set. Seems well made, I probably could have attached it straighter but for the price what more can you expect. Also Walnut Hollow is the brand not the material. The material is Pine
