Perfect for my needs, might not work as well if you plan to load with a lot of heavy items
I like to air-dry some of my clothes rather than putting them in the dryer. This rack is perfect for hanging shirts and pants while they dry. In southern CA, many homes have their washer/dryer in the garage and since my garage has a western exposure, it gets extra warm inside during the afternoon so things hanging in the garage dry quickly. I like that it's on wheels - I roll it over by the washer and move clothes directly from the washer to hangers on the rod and can then roll it out of the way while they dry or when it's not in use. The fact that it also collapses for storage is a bonus, but because the connectors are made of plastic, not sure how well it would hold up if I collapsed it down after each time I used it. The wheels allow it to easily be moved around, so not an issue for me to leave it up.This rack is clearly meant for light residential storage, it's not going to hold up to the rigors of a store or other commercial use. I don't know how well it would hold up if you jammed it full of heavy coatsAssembly was quick and easy - I normally use my own tools, but there were so few things that had to be tightened that I just used the allen wrench that was included. You will need a phillips screwdriver to tighten 4 small screws near the bottom of the legs in the plastic connectors. Tip: When you insert the metal poles into the plastic connector pieces, make sure to push enough that they are fully seated into the connector, otherwise I think the rack would be less stable and you could risk the connectors breaking because stresses are hitting in the wrong places.

Good buy for the $$
I purchased this to use to make macrame projects. It had everything I was looking for; locking wheels, adjustable height and could be folded for storage when it wasn't in use. This rack met my needs and it's better than I expected. It is not a heavy duty rack but it is well made. I put it together in about 15 minutes. I think it could hold 30-40 lbs of clothes without interfering with it rolling. I do think if you put more than that it probably wouldn't move easily. But with a small amount of weight (5-7lbs is what I have on it) the wheels move (even over carpet) lock and unlock easily.I suspect the height adjustment was for making it as small as possible for storage. For me I need to adjust where I'm working on my project and it is really easy to change the height and keep it level. When the rack is closed it's about 39" tall and would easily slip under a bed. Fully opened it's about 18" at the base and stands about 5'9" high.

When it arrived it was a better quality than I expected
I purchased this for my work & for the price. I'm a wardrobe manager on a show and work on costumes at home. I got mine on a special for really, really cheap. I knew what to expect since I own one already. When it arrived it was a better quality than I expected. It's easy to assemble just make sure to use a mallet to assist in getting the poles into place tightly. I use mine daily for laundry. I load it up with wet costumes and place it on the balcony for items to dry. I like the way this one adjust for the height with metal push nubs much more secure then my older one with plastic flip locks(I've hade it about 8 years now). Yes, this rack is challenging to maneuver when loaded and yes, it feels flimsy when you're trying to roll it loaded up but what would one expect when only paying under $20 for a clothing rack?! If you're rolling it on a carpet it more tricky than a hard surface floor. It serves its purpose well. I plan on purchasing a couple more for my shop and I would recommend them to anyone thinking about purchasing.NOTE: The support poles at the bottom are the key to balance on these racks. When looking for the right rack look for 2 or 4 support poles that are placed far apart. This particular one has 2 a good distance (approx. 9.5"), my older one has 2 that are only about 3' apart causing it to be more flimsy and harder to maneuver.PICTURE: This is in the lowered setting. It is loaded with costumes ready to be bagged up for transport. There is about 30-40lbs of garments on it. I've put heavier and it holds up fine.

Not weight bearing but easy to assemble
I was excited to use these as they were light weight, easy to transport, and quick to assemble. However, they are not meant for much weight. They collapse when the rack is full. I was intending to use these for selling garments so there was a lot of weight in them. If you’re not moving them around too much, they’d work great.

Perfect for Macramé
I purchased this for making my macramé projects easier and it’s perfect for this. Adjustable height, locking wheels, place to hang my scissors and extras and I love that I can fold it away easily to store it when I don’t need it. I highly recommend this product if your into Macramé.

Buy new casters right away: Update
I love this portable folding clothes rack. It is the second one I have purchased. My daughter takes it to every dance competition to hang up her son's clothes. It rolls nicely and folds so that it easily fits in the car. The adjustable top bar is great so long items and short ones can hang easily. There is one thing I would recommend. The casters on the clothes rack are cheap plastic and we had one break after much use. I would check the size of the casters and buy ones that are not plastic and roll in all directions. I do like the locking feature on the height of the bar and the casters.I have to update my review. I had trouble finding casters that would fit the garment rack so I sent an email to the company and they are sending me a new wheel free of charge. If you buy this garment rack, hang onto the model number in case you ever need a replacement part. I had to send pictures. I am eager to start using this garment rack again. It is just right for my needs.Great customer service. I received the new casters for free.

Excelente compra
